their sticks are heavier, the sticks they use seem to weigh even over twice as much as my heaviest poolstick. that way and due to incredible technique they can put longer lasting spin on the ball

also the balls are bigger, and thus heavier, which makes for less frictionratio with the cloth and the spin lasts much longer

I play a lot of trick shots on 9ft 9-ball tables. Do a few little shows for mates and locals etc. The masse shot that he uses here is one of the shots I play, but the spin hold so long on his shots...its outstanding.

Does anyone know if those billiard tables use a snooker style cloth with a nap? of a synthetic 9 ball type cloth? I am trying so hard to work out how the ball holds so much spin, for so long. I did used to doctor my cue ball with polish for longer arcs on some shots? I wonder?

The cloth is different from snooker and billiards its design to decrease the friction between the cloth and the ball thats how the ball has so much spin for so long.. Carom billiards is the name of the type of table if that helps in any way

couldnt agree more, gay music, gay slow mo videos, and gay the fact the balls dont actually go in any pockets. The second shot is basically just a backspin with two women either side, you could put anything there and its the same- maybe elephants would have been more effective. pile of shit

Even those who don't know the first thing about the subject can express their opinion. The amount of control he has over those balls puts him in very elite company. As for that shot #2 - "basically just backspin..". The balls break at a precise angle and the path stays effectively straight the length of the table. Very subtle and wonderful. I challenge you to try that shot. Come back in 3 yearswith some wisdom.

but ANYONE can play that shot given 50 attempts at it. DONT tell me he did every trick in that video first tim, because we all know he didnt. Its just not a very good shot AND I am not commenting on the players ability, just that I have seen a lot more EFFECTIVE videos of this kind on Youtube.

Hey man, I agree with the music and slow mo ... but the pockets thing? You're missing the point of traditional billiards ... he has to hit both of the other object balls to score a point (much harder than pocketing).  Most of these are 3-cushion shots, which means he also has to hit at least 3 cushions (but he has a couple straight-line billiard shots too).
