Hi i'm a drummer and i need a device that plays some solo-bass tracks where i can play on it. Is this what i'm looking for? It's possible to create my custom bass line and select the playing-speed?
I had one of these was my first drum machine ever i hated it could never get the thing to record and the sounds were cool but it dont record i looked it up on rolands site and it says it is strictly for jamming so i sold it for 40 after i paid 80 just wanted to get rid of it i bought a 303 groovebox after this and that suits me much better even though it took 9 month to figure it out
thanks for posting this. The dr 3 looks awesome. Im buying it second hand from my friend for £30. I know it has 100 patches for you to save stuff, and you can record stuff, but can you record whole fills, verses etc. (there's probably better terms for what i mean, but this is my first time owning one)?
also, does it come with a built in speaker?
if you could answer my questions that'd be great. Also, good luck selling it :D

Can you connect this to Fruityloops ? so i can just record the drums i play on it, direcly into fruityloops. (with midi)

that's ridiculous, why would it be only for 'jamming'? surely there has to be some way to get around that.

@95railflip u can record the whole drum + bass. it doesnt have a speaker it only has red/yellow aux out and 1/4inch jack out.
