Atheism is lack of conviction that any gods exist.

It's a CORRECT philosophical position because there is zero credible confirmation of anything supernatural, including gods. That's the EVIDENCE we have.

As for PROOF, a negative can't be proven, so that part of the request is nonsensical. Shlock may as well ask for proof that there's no Santa Claus anywhere in the universe--clearly unprovable, and that fact doesn't make Santa's existence plausible, contrary to Shock's dishonest pretentions.
