Usually if you want something to glow you do the mixture then leave it in the sun or under a light for 8 hours before it actually glows.

Don't worry, you aren't doing anything wrong. The video was a fake. There is nothing in the chemistry of it to suggest any sort of chemiluminescence would occur. When you add the baking soda to the MountainDew, it neutralizes the carbonic acid in the soda, leaving behind saltwater and Carbon Dioxide gas which is the bubbles you see. Adding Hydrogen peroxide doesn't really do anything besides break down into water and oxygen. As you may have noticed, none of these products glow.
