Just home from a funny night in town.....Dublin by the way is still rocking. Cheers for the cool song and pics, getting all emotional now...Must go find an early house, hair of the dog is needed.
Dublin has to be the most boring and morbid town in the world and people who live there just dont know life or there own self-worth its like a prison because almost every bar and food-store has security gaurds on them and everybody judges you for simple things like the way you dress acked behave walk and talk its SICK get the fuck out and live your life . You cannot exspress your true self in Dublin because the culture is so exstremley different to everywhere.
thank you for watching, nice to see they bring some joy and also understanding of how talented ol' phillo was... it's sick, I can listen to anything with lizzy and you can always hear that enormous talent shine through

I guess been collecting for last thirty yrs.. But I've only collected their stuff.. oh and Some Gary Moore also.. G day. thx for the Video.. very nice very nice inDeed
thank you so much! dublin is indeed a beautiful town and I think at least some of my pictures show the real dublin and not just tourist stuff, love the song too, phil was an awesome songwriter
thank you, I will be back some day for sure. Really nice town and good pubs. We frink a lot in Sweden hehe but don't really have a pub culture like you guys do. We drink more at home with friends and then when we get pissed we go out XD. Really enjoyed sitting with a pint of Guinness at The Bachelor Inn hehe, quite nice!
its where phil's mum philomena lives, she welcomes all the rhin lizzy fans to drop in,the house is full phils pictures and things like his jukebox (in the corner) with his own hand writing on it.you should try and visit next time down.
oh ok now I know what you mean! I've seen pictures of that place and his jukebox and all that in a documentary... Did not know you could just drop by like that. Is Philomena there all the time? She seems like a nice person
Hi Jason. Cool vid. & hope you enjoyed your visit to Dublin. Guess youre a Phil Lynott fan. Ive visited his grave in St Fintans, Sutton & on my first visit was very surprised its so discreet and plain. I guess I was expecting something a bit more grand but its the cemeterys policy. At least they give him an honoured concession by allowing objects of devotion to remain after visits from his fans. When you were there did you go around Howth Head as well? All the best. Stuart.
Hello Stuart, thank you for watching and your comment! I knew that the grave was quite discreet but was still a bit surprised that his grave was not placed along the bigger graves that we saw. I was really taken with the whole experience of visiting his grave was since it's he closest you can get to him these days. It's nice people can leave little gifts for Phil, I left my beloved wrist chain on his grave, think it's in this video if you look close. Howth head, is that the mountain? no did not.
Thanks. I wholeheartly agree with you. Its very touching to see people still care & come visit after all the years. Unfortunately, I dont live in Dublin but Mullingar, so rarely get there. Next time you are visiting, there are spectacular cliff walks along Howth Head (just a few minutes walk up the road from St. Fintans Cemetery), definitely not to be missed, especially during good weather. All the best. Stuart.

Thanks so much for sharing this. "Dublin" is a gorgeous song -- very melancholy, especially when used as it is here, as an elegy for Philip.
I miss that guy every damn day. Thanks again.
