  • This was the only live event I attended in Canada. Sat in section 207, and stayed next door, at the Marriott.

  • I couldn't believe Barry Windham went from Widowmaker to The Stalker to a New Blackjack.

  • I miss rowdy loud crowds like this

  • Bret Hart is a fucking LEGEND!!!!!!! One of the GREATEST to lace up the boots in history!

1997 was the best year in wrestling history! The amount of talent in the WWF in 1997 was unreal! The early, and mid card matches of 1997 are 100 times better than today's, WWE, main events.

Hart, Michaels, Austin, Rock, Taker, HHH, Vader, Mankind, JBL, etc etc etc!

    ATTITUDE ERA FOREVER!

  • In an upset, all eight members of the opening match are still alive today.

  • @snapwilson LMAO!

  • @Forston22 why wrestlemania 3

  • Shawn michaels calling Bret a mark is one of the greatest moments in wrestling history

  • Steers and queers?! Louis Gossett Jr FTW!

  • Since i don't watch the tripe that is the WWE today i have to ask, do they still have a spanish announce team with table?

  • "3 years of 3rd grade had nothing to do with it?"

  • wwF IS THE REAL SHIT

    wwE IS THE GAY SHIT

  • LOL the spanish team got totally chumped, mic wasnt working at all,. french team got 50% chumped

  • LOL @ the entrance ramp carpeting catching on fire

  • that godwinns theme was awesome

  • its JBL!!

  • HEADBANBGERS r awesome

  • The word new should imply that it's an improved version of the original but in the case of the New Blackjacks,it had been overall not a great idea!

  • If you want to see Degeneration X tag team matches get the Monday Night War disc where they worked the Road Warriors on Raw or the first Degeneration X disc where DX was formed by Shawn and Hunter teaming against Foley and Undertaker. It was cool back when Michaels was on top and HHH was up and coming, but it is still great now that Shawn and Hunter are both legends. HBK is always greater then HHH, but HHH is great too. All the haters with their boss' daughter and drugs crap can just suck it.

  • its funny how back then shawn was the shit he was cool, and the big shot and HHH was his right hand man , his bitch, now its the other way around lol HHH is the man now and shawn is the lil bitch lol

  • @arturocruz09 HBK>HHH always.

  • @arturocruz09 Well he should have married the bosses daughter and he would still be on top.LOL

But seriously shawn was a drug addict and he is most to blame for his career. HHH actually helped him get back into wrestling because he was fired from the company. HHH was always a true professional, dedicated to the business and it payed back for him.

  • where do you get your facts from....shawn was never fired he quit because of back problems and due to the fact that he didnt want to give up the #1 spot.

  • Yes, they did but they never (to the best of my recollection) went for the tag titles.

  • actually, they did, but it was with road dogg and mr. ass

  • Butt bangers. BAHAHAHA...Road Dogg on the mic is absolute GOLD!

  • this was the real DX.....not the crappy PG, born again HBK crap they have these days

  • the craziest SS i ever saw lolzzz

  • MARKMAN hah. he was a big mark for himself

  • New Age Outlaws - One Of The Top 5 Tag Teams!

  • lol french

    what a gay language

  • except, montreal probably the biggest party city on the continent...

  • I bet if the headbangers ever came back, WWE would probably make Avenged Sevenfold as their entrance music.

  • A7X for life

  • these guys are old these days :)

  • LOL...I agree...and that's sad.

  • Nothing in the history of wrestling ever took more punishment than "The Spanish Announce Table".

  • correct their table is somewhat of WWE's sacrificial lamb :p

  • lmfao yeah, poor bastards

  • @barnaj lmao they have no respect for the spanish announcers, they're are always in a harsh and tough work environment on a weekly basis lol

  • is that barry windham's brother as he looks likehim??

  • no it is not his brother its bradshaw

  • I know its JJB but da other guy looks like windhams brother

  • That was BW himself. They were together as The New Blackjacks back then.

  • Jr said Boston center is that right? if so HOW IRONIC

  • yes. the boston center in montreal. damn, how stupid are you?

  • He said Molson Centre (as in the beer). It's now called the Bell Centre I believe.

  • this was real heat and not just a plot line. !! i can understand that bret didnt want to lose the belt in canada and shawn shouldnt of lied to bret when he really knew what was going to happen!! but vince should of trusted bret and not ended the match! vince was screwed by the likes of luger, hall and nash and wasnt about to take chances!! if hed trusted bret i think bret wouldve returned to wwf eventually and owen might still be alive today!

  • bret was stubborn and wouldn''t job

vince was outright disgusting in his actions

and the rest were spineless pawns

    END OF STORY

  • Why must this Good PPV must be under the WWE 24/7?

  • Shawn Michaels Bret Hart The Greatest Rivals

  • No disrespect, but this isn't a great rivalry. We got 2 matches in 18 months because these two guys were too petty and insecure to work with each other. Great rivalries in wrestling occur when two guys work together, get each other over, and keep building over months or even years. It could have been, should have been a great rivalry, if the two guys didn't behave like a couple of 14 year olds and put their personal issues aside for the sake of entertaining the fans.

  • non taken

  • I agree. I mean, REAL great rivalries include Austin/Rock, Flair/Steamboat, Dreamer/Raven, Flair/Sting, HHH/Foley. They were great because its wrestlers were able to work with each other with little animosity and produce phenomenal matches.

  • like austin vs bret right?

  • So WTF are you talking here? Their rivally began in 1992, don't you remember?

  • You consider a one-off pv match right after bret won the belt. with no build and no story, to be a feud?

  • Goodmorningcapt1 is correct, this wasn't a great rivalry at least, much less one of the "best of all-time." It was more of a backstage rivalry if anything, but with that said, HBK was a huge prick backstage and everyone in the WWF knew it. Bret took offense to HBK's behavior more than anyone else because he'd been there the longest and he was one of the few people at the time that Vince McMahon would never fire.

  • totally agree, the skills these two have couldve made some awesome matches but egos got in the way!!-the sad thing is that shawn seems to be a different person now hes found religion and has admitted to his wrongs but bret still wont let it go and still holds on to his hatred for hbk!!

  • @goodmorningcapt1 Exactly! It's not as if every wrestler that worked together liked each other, much like in the workforce every day.

  • Man I HATED Shawn Michaels back in the day.

  • me too.

  • Michaels was cocky and arrogant, but bret hart was a whiney little baby bitch!

  • awesome promo by road dogg

  • this feud must have been so exciting to watch - it really felt true to life... maybe because it was i dunno

  • I just both the VHS of this ppv on Ebay just before they released on DVD Anthology .

  • Classic PPV! And perhaps one of the most important PPV's in wrestling history (1st in my opinions is Bash at the Beach 1996)! Thanks for uploading this!

  • @AgentEJA Wrongggggg Wrestlemania 3 whould be the first haha

  • @AgentEJA When you say Bash at the Beach you're alluding to Hogan's heel turn? Just wanna make sure I got ya.

  • WWE Screwed Bret!!!!Point Blank Period!!!!Nuff Said!!!

  • thanks for the upload bro=). Fuck yeah survivor series '97
