Been a fan of him since his Sporting days. I was suprised that no big club took a chance on him. I think it is a bit over zealous to say he will be the next Xavi. He is good but is he that good? It took a long time for people to appreciate Xavi. I thought he was one of the best midfielders when I saw him way back in 2002. Anyway, if Modric is a no go and AVB thinks he can do the job then I have full faith. However, Quaresma is an example where it didn't work so be cautious.

Anyway that's only a stat I wanted to share my opinion with. Moutinho is an excellent player and he should go to Chelsea. He would add A LOT to Chelsea midfield and season overall. Him or Modric, fingers crossed.
