@vintagerosenz There was a video for the single Ring Ring which you can find on several official DVD releases. For this performance, as it says in the description above, there is no video. Apparently SVT wiped the performance for some utterly crazy reason!

I'm going to get a lot of thumbs down, but I can see why they lost.

If you listen objectively, this version doesn't stand out from the crowd. It lacks that ABBA quality that kicks you in the crotch demanding to be noticed. It might be the horns, or it could be the girls singing an octave lower than where they shine.

Unfortunately, the winner, Nova, had a stronger entry despite crappy lyrics.

Fortunately, ABBA got their act together a year later to kick everyone's butt and entered history.

There IS no video - it was wiped by the Swedish archives. To hear it in ANY sound quality is therefore very special, isn't that right, ABBA fans?!

Good performance, but I don't like the horn section on the refrain...they kinda take some of the "rockingness" of that riff away. That's a sort of "James Last" moment there. :-)Great song anyway, one of the catchiest pop tunes of '73!

Must have been the fire in a magazine for tv films around 1979 or something, that made goodbye to these film, and much else. It was very old films that caught fire and started it,probably.(Swede television magz among the best libraries for old films in the world)
