@ltsmash1200 Haha, I think big Les knows how long the song's been around! ;) Guitar Hero has thrusted this song right back to the mainstream with todays young rockers. Guitar Hero deserves the mention in that one respect. Hey even Youtube gets my applause. There are MANY new Mountain fans because of just these 2 mediums alone. For that I'm grateful!

@depper No, I was talking about the guy who posted the video. In the description of the video. It says: "Leslie West does a solo version of the Curtis Mayfield song, People Get Ready. Then comes that song from Guitar Hero - Mississippi Queen
gets clipped when a guard tells me 'no video.'" I was just saying it's not "the song from Guitar Hero," it's "the song from Mountain's Climbing! that was also featured in Guitar Hero."

Depper is 100% right. Leslie West is the most underrated guitarist of all time. He is also a remarkable singer - but it is his guitar work that blows you away. He is the King of Guitar-Driven music - he's got the energy and the inspriation too. THANKS!

Leslie West has a tone that should be enshrined. Can NEVER be duplicated. And when its gone its gone forever. Go see this man live if you can if you like the Blues or Rock. He's one of the last of the Rock n Roll Dinosaurs left.. And he's the biggest one.
