You start a building pile with either a one or a skip-bo, that means the skip-bo is a one. You aren't allowed to make it any number you want. Re-read the rules before posting informative videos.

@MimiUrameshi the version i have, the wild or skip bo card can be made whatever number you need it to become.

ex. on one of the piles theres 1-5 and your card on "get rid of" pile you have an 8, your holding a skip bo and a 7 in your hand. you put the skip bo on the 5; acting as a 6, you play the 7 and play your 8.

after you use the skip bo on one pile, you cant take it off that pile and use it on another. unless it gets shuffled back in.

Well I got the gist of it but had to look at other videos too. Would be better if she used 'build piles' and spoke less fast. Liked the enthusiasm though. I play my first game tomorrow.

Five, you left out that each time it is your turn, except the first go around, you draw however many cards you need to total up to five cards before you start discarding cards. The reason for the exception is that you are started out with 25 cards total: five to play with and 20 to get rid of to win the game.

Four, you always start a new pile with a one or a Skip-Bo card. If you do use a Skip-Bo card start a new pile the card has to be followed by a two or another Skip-Bo card until you can play a numbered card or until you can no longer play a card.

One, you deal 20 cards to play from on the sides, not 30 regardless of how many players you have. Two, you turn over all of that stack of 20, not on at a time. Three, when you are showing how to play the cards please be sure you are playing them in order. Last time I checked, five came after four not seven. Not only that but the nines in a deck of Skip-Bo cards were red not green.

A skip-bo card replaces any number you want it to.

Yes, you just need to finish your stock pile.
