Yes the duels will be free. However you'll have to buy this thing called "BP" to use for purchasing cards from booster packs. In YO2 we could get to pick booster packs after each duel. Fortunately I've been around the game long enough to have a head start, but for beginners that just started, they'll have to buy more packs to catch up.
Well I know maintenance will begin sometime after today, and we probably won't actually play the new yugioh online until next year. At best they will let us do some beta testing after the maintenance.
Excellent win for you - it's always nice to get that sided decree 1st hand - that practically ended that duel there and then. xD
