Actually the only thing it took from gears is its cover system. thats it. Sure the characters are overly muscular like gears and have deep voices (what game isn't like that), but there is a whole different kind of style going on here if you look closely enough. Its guns are more over the top, and its combat doesn't remind me anything of gears.

Just because the game resembles your precious gears of war doesn't mean that the game is bad. Nothing that I saw in this video makes me think that this will be a bad game....just a bunch of comments from people that are angry that gears of war may not be the only game of its kind anymore.

Don't know about that one, I think people give Gears way too much damn credit. This game is shit and is on par with it, probably has a better story too. BTW GoW is God of War, just call it Gears.
