And yes when you stick some new rims on a car it makes it slightly faster unless you put bigger tires on it. Also holds better to the ground.. Body kits also add performance Helps stick to the ground better. Better handling also.. Spoilers are also there to act as a wind tunnel and adjust the wind when driving faster...
