Skyrim - Spider under walkway in Avanchnzel

I summoned a flame atronach with a staff down there. Also, I noticed some bars right after the stairs, in front of the table, that seem to be activated somewhere else.

I took a second run through here with Lydia to collect all the metal & somehow she got down there & killed the spiders. No idea how she did it.

I appreciate you posting the video, I just spent 2 hours of running around trying to figure out how to open that gate because the zone won't clear for me. That's the only area I haven't been in...so I figured that was the issue.

@trinitty1 Dont bother, cause the place wont be cleared no matter what you do. Its even stated on UESP wikia. Well, one word Bethesda.

Anyways, great game so far, i didnt have the same luck with fallout 3. That one's crawling with glitches, script bugs and stuff... at least on the ps3 i got.

Still, something makes me play this shit.... must be the atmosphere :)

I don't like when there are places like that. I mean, why put the type of bars that look like you can open them, if you cant? That, along with the buggy spider spawn really made me think you could go there. I'm still kinda annoyed that you cant, but at least now I know. Thanks for the vid.
