The other scene that tore my heart was when Reika was reaching out from her cage, and Kaname's hand was there. They were just about to touch, when the cage was suddenly lowered. =[
no--even if they're tattooed, the "burial" conditions cannot and will not support mummification. yes, carlzacx is right. they're supposed to rot--but that would ruin the game visuals. ^_^
