  • in the master system version you cant attack robotnik berfore he gets down

  • @JoostRevo yeah the game gear version of the first boss is way past easy but boss 2 is diffrent story

  • Sonic is an evil idiot. why would sonic attack Robotnik when Robotnik wasn't doing any thing? :/

  • @speedduelist He took all his animal friends

  • @speedduelist and turn them into the robots which are trying to kill him

  • You would have saved time if you took the invincibility. I've done this before and finished 2 seconds earlier than you did on act 1.

  • @justdyinhere....trippy, i didn't realize but you wrote the same thing as me, wozn't copying or anything XD...*question for everyone* is it just me or was the original sonic 1 a helluva lot harder than the genesis?, the genesis version was nothing compared to this imo

  • lol, the first boss....."hello, how you doing sonic, uhhhhh.....please can i kill you.....pretty please....i'll give you cheeseburger".....the GG version boss was crap, mS version at least the was a point, i wouldn't even attempt a speed run on the GG. screen's too dinky

  • lol, the first boss, "I think I'll just fly around and see if sonic is somehow destroyed!" :D

  • Have you ever been there? There's a lot of FULL movies - absolutelly for free!

    lastmovies4you (dot) com

  • this is just like the master system, but portable :-)

  • i loveeeee the music in this zone!!!

  • aghh loll this looks so cool!!

  • Wow, Robotnik was just flying around, and Sonic starts attacking him, what an asshole!

  • i know right?! robotnik wasn't even attacking sonic! Sonic started it!!!! T^T

  • Yeah !!! thanks for the video ! I made about 10 seconds for the act 1 ^^

  • I first thought Gamegear was as powerful as the GBA or atleast Genesis, like an olden PSP but, it's more like a GB with color.

  • No....It is a master system. Which was 2x as powerful as the NES. A Gameboy has less ram, slower cpu etc.

  • Then why does it look like a GBC game?

  • Because it has a limited palette. The GBC supports a 56-color palette, while the GG only supports 32. The GBC has lesser RAM, but the GBC and the GG both run on the exact same CPU (Z80). god i feel so nerdy for typing that =P

  • sorry, i accidentally removed your comment. they shouldn't make the reply button right next to the review button. Anyway, yes, that's pretty much what it means.

  • This plays much more smoothly than a GBC/GBA as well. It could be faster but then Sonic might be more difficult to control if he were that fast. I really don't think even the GBA's processor could handle that type of emulation...

  • How could it be smoother than GBA if it has the same processor as the GBC? I know the Sonic Remake for GBA sucked but Sega didn't really seem to be trying with that one.

  • Well, I didn't know that the Game Gear had the same processor as the GBC - could have fooled me, especially with the non-lighted LCD screen and the resolution; it just seems like they could have done better, notwithstanding Sega's(?) attempt at their port on the GBA. But it really did seem to be crappier. Man, it reminds me of my old days of playing the original GB and NES.

  • I meant "dot matrix", not "LCD" with my resolution comment above

  • GameGear is the best, right along with the Saturn, Dreamcast, Sega CD...

  • yes its fun but your not a real sega fan till you own the original on GG or SMS

  • Nostalgia to the maximum!

  • This was the first video game I ever owned. Wow, this brings back memories.

I always wondered what those things were that jumped out of the space ship once you beat an Act...

  • It lokks that way, but it isn't.

  • Fantastico!!!!!!

or in english... Awesome, remind my childhood...

  • Too bad the game gear drew so much power, it killed batteries way faster than Game Boy and thats why it didn't sell :( If only they had chargers for things like that..

  • they did, nobody bought them...

  • They did have chargers. Its called google people.

  • I'm going to play GameGear games again after I collected 130 emblems in Sonic Adventure DX (GameCube).

  • How does Eggman, or Dr. Robotnik, actually attack you in the first stage? It didn't look like he did anything at all.

  • He eventually drops down or something =P

  • He swoops down and tries to hit you on the ground but it takes him for ever to do it, I had to wait just to see what he did.

  • Nice one.

  • good job ;)
