Wow - guess I missed this one; I really like how they took this delicate approach - really nice and breathy (with the rhodes). An overlooked and perhaps 180 to this Reba is the one from 12/7/95 @ Niagara; super fast in tempo, accurately played even at that speed and a climax that leaves your eyebrows slammed into your hairline.
I really enjoy the energy of the 10/31/94 reba. great build ups and the vid is on Youtube....trey just keeps pacing back and forth and is truly feeling it
I love the jam........Im usually still heavy drunk in mid set when they play this and I just feel like nothing in the world can bother me. Same with a Divided Sky or Hood. I always wondered how they know when to stop or just keep on grooving. Like said before I could drive endlessly on a country road at night by myself. Some people take vacations or go to church......I go to concerts......in that 2-3 hours of a Phish show I can relax and have fun just the same as if someone who went to Cancun
They were awesome; I only got to see Nassau but they were absolutley monster shows!!!! Some of the jams were so extended. The setlist was more about the playing than the song. Take for instance this expansive Reba and the 43 minute Island Jam after Roses. Just so awesome.
The sound on this thing puts me there. I can close my eyes and picture looking around during the jam and see thousands of glazed eyes being transferred to that special place they took/take/hopefully will take us again.
Silverchair, you may just be uploading on your end, but know you are giving a gift to so many who require this fix after seeing Phish live.
fantastic lights throughout, but the section between starting around 3:30 first makes it look like they have a small theater backdrop... and when it expands... :o
such a beautiful solo
