i prefered Davetta as Lily myself, she just seemed more believable as Dru's daughter personality wise. i think Chistal is okay but i find her portrayl of Lily boring. i liked the character better when Davetta came in.

The current Lily is a great actress, but she does not look like Neal-Malcome or Dru. She looks like a whole other ethnicity. Davetta was believable, AND she had a bit of Drus personality going on. Christal is more reserved, quiet persona, less engaging. I preferred Davetta. But Cane would be too old for her, and this one too.

Don't shoot the messenger, that's just one of the rumors I heard was to downplay the interracial thing. It wouldn't surprise me at all. As for Davetta acting like a diva, the actress that plays Dru, Victoria Rowell, loved her so I don't know. I like both actresses in the role for different reasons, so I don't really have a preference either way. I do think it was foul the way DS was let go. They coulda told her to her face. They punked out like when the girls got kicked outta Destiny's Child.

Yeah, Victoria Rowell prefered DS as Lily. I can't remember the website, but it was an audio interview. She was talking about the actress that plays Phyllis and the actor that plays Jack too. I don't think VR was crazy about a lot of her co workers lol. As for the DS vs. CK debate, I actually like both actresses in the role. I dont hate on CK, she originated the role. I did prefer DS Lily with Daniel, but I love CK's Lily with Cane. Lane is like my favorite couple on the show right now.

She said the actress that plays Phyllis spit on her during a scene and had to apologize for it. Apparently PB said something about her not being mentally stable after she quit and they asked her about it and she just responded. I don't thinks she threw either of them under the bus in the interview she just answered the questions she was asked. She also called CK a valley girl, which was uncalled for IMO. That's the only thing she said that I thought was outta line.
