@Jacquesone100 I am currently busy with searching lights for a studio, but they have to be cheap. I was looking at the exact same kit at that website and was surprised to find a review on it. I just have a few questions, how bright are they? I know that's kinda difficult to answer but is it for example enough to light a green screen? Also, are the lights dimmable? Thanks in advance and thanks for the review!
uuhm i gues u could light a green screen with it ..i did it on my adobe lightroom 4 beta video..but i only lit my upper part of my body using a 50 mm so pretty close up
nope they are not dimable ..atleast mine cant be dimmed ..ive tryed but the lamps are starting to make weird noises when i do so i abandoned the dim test..
other then that im real happy with it..believe they have a bigger set to but im not sure..
Hey Jacques, you wouldn't beleive this but I bought those same soft boxes almost two years ago, and I am currently using two larger softboxes. The thing is I didn't put the boxes togther my assistant did who was just working that shoot and have not spoken to him since and I thought the boxes were permanent and not collapsible. Know thanks to your video I pulled them out of the shed and found how easaly they collapse, thanks man:)
Wow looking good Bro, very nicely done review and video editing. Looking really professional now. Lights look cool. I need to get some to add to my studio too. I have two umbrella type soft lights, but think the overhead light would help a bunch too.
Hey Jacques this video looks very slick my friend what software did you edit this with? What did you do with the end to get the subscribe box's looking like this?
I bought the 50x70 softboxes and an overhead softbox with 4 studio flashguns (120w), they also support halogen lights for video. Pretty good buy for little money. Quality is good but i defenitly need some higher quality gear for better shots, like a 400w flash and a big overhead/key softbox. I highly recommend this for beginners. Go get some!
