you could possibly unbrick it. I believe my sister has one and I bricked it once. However, I went to go get a PSP 1000 and created a pandora battery hacked my PSP 1000 then tried the pandora battery I made on the slim and it worked just fine. I was able to unbrick it and re-install 5.00 m33 and then upgraded it to 5.50 gen-d3. Worked fine to me.

First of all, I have both a psp 1001 and 2001. I bricked the 2001 and got myself a 1001. Make myself a pandora battery and unbricked my 2001. READ my WORDS. Second, who says mobo? Only fags say that shit. Also, you can downgrade a psp 2001 with a pandora battery as well. I will prove you wrong just you watch. Also, I can use my pandora battery as a normal battery. I have hard mod my battery to make it into a pandora and still use it as normal. People like you dont know.

this is common problem, keep trying to get chickhen on it, i might take quite a few tries. if all fails go to the last picture and press the "tv" button and hold it for a few seconds, try it atleast 10 times and it will work. The "tv" button is the button on bottom right, left of the button with the musical note on it.

the only way of knowing now is getting a pandora and mms. If pandora recovers then good otherwise it proves you've tried to install 5.50 gen d3 on a TA088v3 when you're told not to in the video description.

These steps worked perfectly for my white Star Wars Renegade Squadron 2001 model psp. First I updated my system from 3.60 to 5.03 using Kamenrider's tutorial for that. Then I followed this video step by step, doing exactly what he says.

One note- when you're at the part on your psp where you need to highlight the last picture but NOT press any buttons, if the system doesn't turn green and instead just shuts off, turn it back on and keep trying that step, it may take a few tries.
