i love "the lord of the rings" too, more than any other book or movie. BUT i have to say that not frodo is the hero. it is sam. i can feel with frodo, he has a heavy burden to carry, but he can not controll himself because of the ring. so in my opinion sam is the hero. and pip and merry :D but not frodo
