Amazing preview! Just a question, where did you get the Rock Band 3 tracks, or did you rip it yourselves? I already bought Rock Band 3 so I wanted the tracks to put into Phase Shift for my laptop.
@NibblerFox I'd like to know where you got the tracks too. I can't wait for this release! I'm assuming the cymbals are automatically detected on Ion Rocker drum kits?
In Rock Band 3, it seems that you can just strum every string to hit a chord, even if it's a power chord, leading to bad habits with real guitar playing. Is this the case with Phase Shift?
@CaptainToasteh the mode is still being tweaked but the main problem here is the mustang controller strings have crosstalk issues so the strumming accuracy has to be fairly relaxed
@CaptainToasteh There is a second problem which prevents us from being more strict with the strings. The Mustang doesn't detect muted strings. It's common on real guitars to mute the strings you don't want to sound and then strum whatever. Some chords would be impossible to play if it was too strict. I guess the game could look for impossible chords and relax the rules arround them. However, it might just make more sense to award more points if you hit them perfect instead of making you fail.

@NibblerFox you can use frets on fire songs =] just put the songs in Phase Shift Release\music folder and rock on !

@Tehstroyer Currently the 360 mustang is the only way to play that mode, we don't have the ps3 model so have been unable to find out how it works
