When I look at this I it remind me that Dark skin people need to visit these parts of their original land to really understand where they came from and how their people suffered in these lands that another man petards them self to be them in these American films. This film was an epic production, they took no short cuts. How many extras did they hire to portray the Exodus? The sets they built were also astonishing. It was also incredibly well written and scripted. Many films from that era are sort of dull compared to modern films, but this one still entertains. Probably my favorite movies from that period are The Ten Commandments, Ben-Hur, El Cid, and the Fall of the Roman Empire.

pastor, commandment number 6 is incorrect. It's "thou shall not murder" It wouldn't make sense to say , "thou shall not kill" and then later say that "a soccerer is to be put to death." theres a difference between killing and murder.

I agree. Thank goodness this movie was made during that time. Cecil B. DeMille used 500 extras for the Exodus from Egypt. Had the film been made nowadays, they would've had 15 extras and computer generated them to look like a crowd. The movies of yesteryear had more authenticity.
