Yeah, usually everytime I flew from JFK/LGA to MIA/FLL it was on a 727 or L-1011. I do remember flying one time on an Eastern DC-9. (A first generation one). In the later years, it was usually a 757/767. I like the altitude callouts. Were you getting that off of your GPS? Well done. I always like the wing shots on takeoff/landing. My fave spot on the 727 was right behind the wing where I could watch that thing literally "fall apart" when those triple slotted flaps were deployed. WAY cool. Nice.
I am surprised that Delta does this flight with an MD-88. You would think that it would be done with at least a 757-200 because New York to Miami is a very popular flight and has souring high passenger amounts. Good to see that these old birds are still working hard!
