Mazda6 (New 2008)

I drive the 6 stationwagen ( 2009 ) almost every day and its wonderfull. Build qualitie is realy good and the gearbox is awesome but the engin ( i drive the top range 2L 145 hp diesel ) is not as good as it could have been. Its cheap to run and so on but the turbo lag is horible and it takes ages to ghet to its top speed ( witch i think i quite deasent, got it to 235 km/h once ).

Interior is very nice to. all build whit care.

And the gt-m engin is not mutch bethere btw.

yea.. i have the mazda6 first gen and the ford-duratec 3.0L engine gives me (and many others according to forums) so many problems. I love the car but the engine set it back so much.

Ya but I do believe Japan and Europe received this vehicle is 2008. We got the slower version of the vehicle, or so I heard.

tats teh 08 model. if you did work for mazda you would also noe that the deisgn is different. different headlight but share similar design, and different rear end. i like the jpn verison better than the american. damn american, why do they always have to be different. first the metric system, now this.... so sad. i want this mazda SO BADLY

I'm sure you could import it lol, and anyway you might not get the better looking version but at least it's much cheaper in the USA than it it is in the UK! My dad bought an almost base model Mazda6 and it was £18,000, in the USA, an almsot top of the range model cost $18,000!!!

importing cost A LOT OF MONEY, and modding.. but yea.. im growing fond of the american mazda now. hahah im starting to think about ghetting one. otherwise a MINI heheheh

my 07 6 was 18 and some change......Top Gear episode 1 tested an 02 6 was 18000 pounds factor in exchange rate of 1.8 - 1 and that's almost twice as much in UK.

EVERY car is cheaper here....you guys in the UK really take stiff rod in the ass when buying new cars....you get older used cars much, much cheaper over there though.

Its not a fast car.. like the old one I have the old TS2 2.0L petrol it is much lighter than the new one. The new mazda 6 Diesel would need like a 2.8 liter to compare to the old one.

its a nice car man.. looks great and a excellent MPG.TBH I think you've ordered a great car. my mazda is a 02 model.. 6 year old and has only had £500 spent the brakes (rusting) it. so yours should be perfect. and wont burn a hole in your pocket for petrol. p.s. (hope you got it in blue)

My dad use to have a 2002 Mazda6 (in Blue :D)it was awesome, my favourite car that i've ever owned; beautiful, smooth and quiet. So on the sucess of that car my Dad ordered the 2008 Mazda6 in.......Metallic White, sorry, they use a white Mazda6 in all the adverts and it looked beautiful!

Can I ask what tyres are fitted to the car, I own a Mazda 6 in the UK, But the MAZDA factory fitted bridgestone Turanza 205/55 R16.

Do not like the wet or snow, which tyres. Do MAZDA have fitted in your part of the world.

It was a Bridgestone, but i didn`t remember the model. But i can say that we drove about 400 km in Siberia on ICE slippery road with maximum speed about 160-170 km/h for a long distance. The "behavior" of Mazda was very good
