I have the book and read it last year, it is an amazing book about the courage of two people in the face of such danger. I have been at that ZOO before reading the book and looked at the bird cages below which was the entrance to the escape route and had no idea what was happening there. They were savingthese people right under the Nazi's noszes, it was so bold and it worked. These wonderful people saved 300 Jews risking their own lives.
