  • @jkno ub3r sadface

  • AWESOME!! Your so lucky!!!

  • None of the prequal locals are as memorable as the original.

  • @saq428 - I'm an Original Trilogy fan, I grew up with it and my collecting focus are OT Imperials. Still being there in Tunisia was a fantastic and unique experience I'll never forget. Try it for yourself and then you'll see why I'm saying this...

  • Not saying they arent great locals, just saying as a fan of all the movies and being 6 years old when the originals first arrived, there is nothing quite like the originals. I just didn't find anything that stuck out in the new ones quite like the Lars Homestead on forst view, or seeing Hoth for the first time, or initially seeing Endore. Nothing about the new movies had that kind of impact for me. The locations were as much of the movies as the characters.

  • I watched Sw and ESB in cinema in Romania when the country was under communist rule, and thus for me the impact might have been even bigger than for fans from other countries. OT was like a light tower in the darkenss of those sad years. Ceausescu didn't even allow to play ROTJ in cinema so I had to watch it on a VHS tape at a friend. As for the locations, hopefully next year will go and see Sidi Driss hotel where Lars homestead was... You should visit Tunisia as well.

  • been there loved it

  • Is the place guarded? I hope it is, coz alot of crazy star wars collector would crate away pieces from the set and magically appear on eBay for few thousands dollars!

  • It is so far away from usual roads that not all tourists visit it. Besides that people already stolen the small parts: some stolen by locals, some by tourists. Plus a big part you'd have to to through airport security with LOL. Imagine taking a moisture vaporator at customs...

  • it's not. you can actually steal, if you want...

  • Great pics, really cool to be able to see them.

  • Thanks :) The set is is pretty good condition after all these years. Please check out my Tunisia Trip video in my profile

  • Awesome!

  • Thank you! The TPM movie set location is a great place to visit in this beautiful country. :)

  • Thanks.
