  • Soon we will see Operation Ajax "RELOADED"!

  • The US has been in war every decade since its independence.

Google: list of wars involving the USA

  • Arming sides in the Chinese, Korea, and Vietnamese civil wars, invasion of the free Philippines, annexation of colonial Cuba and Puerto Rico, Contra arming, backing Colombian semi-authoritarian government, backing dictatorial corporate regimes in Nigeria, CIA collaborating with Libya's Ghaddafi to torture American terror suspects and to 'teach interrogation' to Libyan 'detainees'...

    Am I missing anything else?

  • Don't forget CIA funding of the Mexican PRI for 60 years, CIA involvement in Africa and Central America for 40 years, famous assassination of Ernesto Guevara, unconditional support of Israel- even when they break international law, and the monarchic dictatorship in Saudi Arabia, funding the military and government of Egypt for ten or more years that the Egyptians are still trying to overthrow, multiple assassination attempts of Castro and Chavez, drone bombing in Pakistan and Yemen...

  • America is beasting

  • @MrCokeDose fuck u

  • @kid149 i bet ur some scrawny 17 yr old kid who sits on his computer all day and plays games

  • This is far from what I was ever imagine, please look at this video!

  • I do multiplayer games on gameranger. One day I chanced my name and made my city Chigaco as a concept, but really chanced that very fast, cause I got kicked out of almost every room, cause I was (not really) from the USA xD

  • Just a clear and objective view, i`m not trying to justify USA`s foreign policy.

  • "East, West, just points of the compass, each as stupid as the other." a quote of Dr. No from the movie with the same name. I would like to ad to this "each as evil as other".

Why no words about the Soviet invasion from Eastern Europe (after WW2), the Afghan Soviet invasion, the situation from Tibet and Taiwan, the Russian invasion of Georgia and so on.

  • @MMoruzov no word about it b/c the film maker in an american citizen shedding some light on his own governments actions, he feels responsible towards towards those interventions b/c america is a democracy (whether its an effective form of democracy that a different subject)

  • Comment removed

  • Also ivasion to Grenada, Dominican rep & others.

Also revolutions in Serbia, Georgia, Ukraine & Kyrgystan.

  • You forgot: U.S. goverment provides weapons to mexican drug cartels in the "Fast & Furious Operative". 40,000 mexicans die with those weapons.

  • What a wonderful world!

  • The founding fathers wanted a Non-Interventionist policy while still protecting the country. If countries want to be communist or have dictators then that is their peoples choice.

  • @silkysirenI Im saying this video is total bullshit because it doesn't show all the details. It ignores them to prove a point which is wrong.

  • Now for my Final statement. I noticed a recurring theme in this video. US gives country mone or weapons and then native people kill each other. You see most of the time its people killing other people from their same nation. Also, Im guessing you havent read or even looked at the millions of people the US people have helped. I dont mind you hate America its your right to do that. But please do me a favor and get your facts right before you start spreading propaganda like this. Thankyou.

  • @13sp4rtan

I personally don't involve emotions when it comes to politics, so I don't "hate america" b/c I don't tend to "hate" anything.

  • @agentoxide What a fine example of robot you are.

  • @13sp4rtan " US gives country more weapons and then native people kill each other" - Yes, this is the great thing about US foreign policy. The tools are given and evil dictators supported, only to make way for worse (US backed) replacements when they have overstepped there line. Oh, and of course the US 'comes to the rescue' and just happens to build Military bases near to all of that countries oil reserves. God bless the USA, they are such gentle, selfless souls......

  • @13sp4rtan Are we talking about people 'helped' by the USA during this liberations? Or since in Libya (19/20 casualties are civilian)? Or Syria? It is an obvious trail of regime picking, of purposefully removing legitimate democracies to put those in power who are more... 'productive' to the "New American Century". It is not a matter of opinion, it is imperical, historical fact. I simply think Americans have lost their democracy and touch with historical leaders who saw this age coming.

  • Thats right Im back. The CIA removed Noriega not because he disobade the people who put him in power but because he was transporting illegal drugs into the US. In 1991 the US never occupied any territory in Iraq. US tanks entered Iraqui soil for less than a day to perform a flanking movement around The Republican Guard. Thousands of Kuwait civilians were killed from Iraqui Forces. Yes the Sudanese bombing was a terrible attack brought upon because Sudanes groups attacked US embassies.

  • @13sp4rtan

    > USG couldn't help but to topple him after his narco-kleptocracy had been exposed by the press, he was a CIA-paid-client, a dictator and a drug dealer.

    >a simple map search would show you how far the U.S forces had advanced into Iraq.

    >I certainly don't need to reminded of that, I'm Kuwaiti and lived trough all that myself. I do know that liberating Kuwait did not require carpet bombing all of Iraq's territory.

    >there is no links between those attacks and any Sudanese groups

  • In Vietnam far more people were killed by the Vietcong and North Vietmanese. When they captured Hue the vietcong massacred thousands of innocents in the city. But you forgot to add that. Also, the coup in Chile in 1973 was performed by the Chilean Military. Although you labeled it "US stages coup." O and the 3000 Chileans killed were killed by Chileans.Thirdly the reason the US backed the Mujahideen is because Soviet troops were massacring Afghani civilians. The Mujahideen were freedom fighters.

  • @13sp4rtan but now the same group are our an enemy?

They are only freedom fighters whilst they use our weapons and kill communists.

  • @13sp4rtan

    > North Vietnam had over a million dead , South Vietnam had less that a quarter of that amount.

    >the coup was "preformed" by Chilean generals by backing and full planing of the Nixon admin and the CIA (Project FUBELT)

    > LOL @ freedom fighters. USG had started funding backward Islamist groups 8 months before the invasion. the soviets fell into the their own "Vietnam quagmire" which was Brezinski's plan after all, and boy did that plan back-fire 25 years later or what!!

  • Clip also leaves out U.S. monetary/militiary/political support to Israel who has been using U.S. weapsons to kill Palestinian civilians for decades.

  • Watching this there isnt much different between Democrat and Republican

  • there are a lot of stuff america hide from their history, like supporting Hitler after WWI by sending large amount of weapon and money to Germany, war of 1812...US always make it looks like they are peace keepers and hates war. but behind your back they secretly sell weapons and create conflicts. this is the US government's fault not American civilians fault.

  • @jiangson I agree that the government is more directly responsible, but the citizens are complacent and apathetic in regards. I consider that to be just as bad if not worse.

"All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke

  • @The4LA2Baker0 Nail on the head!

  • i really applaud mr. moore for quite the political punch here. he could have gone way further if he told about the euro colonialism expeditions

  • Forgot the bombing of Belgrade...

  • Great video but this is too brief. It seems one would need at least a couple of hours to cover everything as briefly as things are covered here.

  • The whole world is aware of all these and many other plots except the Americans.

Memorial Day I was thinking how retarded they are to have such holiday..

All those soldiers died for greed...........they died to fill others pockets.............

300,000,000 sheep who believe the Wold in the Big White House is protecting them while the Big Bear is watching for the right opportunity.

If u can figure it my sentence you will gain my respect.

  • Im a 15 year old american and i dont know what to make of all this. I geuss all this is just what they dont teach you in Middle/High School. Seems like a big chunk of our history is just kinda hiding under the rug. I wish teachers had the balls to talk about all this in class so i can actually LEARN something.

  • @AboveAverageJ0E

check out "people's history of the united states" for many more untold stories

  • @agentoxide yeah, great book. It all started about 500 years ago, with Christopher Columbus, who lead the start of the genocide of the Aztec and other native Americans. Good reason to have a Columbus day

  • @AboveAverageJ0E There's also "The American Empire".

  • @AboveAverageJ0E

I live in VA and I am Greek.

Now my kids are aware of all these because of me. My husband is American for 25 yrs he still looks at me like I am crazy. The only ones who knows are the immigrants.

    Why?

Because that's how we ended up or brought here.................

Son, like my sons, they want you to be plugged in, tv, cell, wiii, = no time to think.

I am happy to see a young American out side the box.

  • @AboveAverageJ0E ask them about it, they probably aint got a clue.

  • @AboveAverageJ0E Hey Jo, just keep reading and researching and looking beyond the veil that is put in front of your eyes. Your teachers don't teach this because they either don't know about it, or are in denial, like the majority of the US population. But the wool is lifting slowly and people are starting to see, and it starts with you sharing your understanding with all your friends....all the best!

  • hey guys, I need a bit of advice:

Do you find it to 'extreme' to show this video in class as part of a school project? (I'm a student and i'm in year 10) I just want my classmates to get an idea of what actually happened and allot of them aren't that bothered about and say that it's all in the past and I want to show them something might make them think about it a little more. thanks.

  • @doctorscompanion95

sure its great illustration, so it fits in a cinema/film class, not a history/geography class.

  • @agentoxide thanks, I will keep that in mind, but it is, as you say, a very good illustration.

  • @agentoxide You could show it in history class too, in our history class we don't only learn about the history but also how to identify limitations and values of our sources, and this is obviously a one sided source which is a limitation. The value is there too, so you could use this vid

  • @agentoxide why not history?

  • @doctorscompanion95 It is not just the US, it is all the empires in history acting in a similar way. There is nothing fundamentally new here. My ancestors are French and they once dominated the world with a lot of violence like all empires do.

  • @doctorscompanion95 i think its extreme to show this video because its total bullshit

  • @13sp4rtan

yes, and so is the squishy pink substance between your ears which you call a brain, my dear friend.

Thank you very much for your creative comment, and i hope you enjoy your evening. :-)

  • @13sp4rtan krysstal.com/democracy_whyusa01.html

    COUPS AND VICTIMS OF US

  • be proud USA citizens your goverment forge your own destiny!

  • no one forges my destiny, no crack pot goverment is going to tell me what to do with my life

  • That 911 footage always disturbs me.

  • I'm really concerned that Bush was appointed by the Supreme Court his first term and nobody gave a crap. That really disturbed me

  • interresting video but where's your references? Anything to back these facts? It may be a little more believable then.

  • why is this getting thumbed down? is asking for facts frowned upon now?

  • True, I'll give it a thumbs up. But Fujimoto could also do some research of his/her own and put a video reply with references if s/he finds that these claims really don't have any sources.

  • If we all tried to research every single video we watched here, I don't think any of us would have a life. Besides, if any of you learned anything in school, it's that it is the authors responsibility to put references so that others CAN actually do that research. Otherwise they aren't going to be taken very seriously. That's not my opinion. That's a real life fact. It's getting easier to put a good video together these days. That doesn't mean they know what they're talking about though.

  • I agree. I have messaged agentoxide to put up any citations in the information pane. If anyone is familiar with these topics I encourage them to message agentoxide about journals/documentaries they might have studied that support the topics in question, and perhaps also about ones that might do the exact opposite.

  • yeah i got your msg

I was considering it in order to update few errors that were pointed out in previous comments, but most of the clip is very much correct.

currently I'm about to finish school, so I'm tight on time!

  • Moore is not an author, he is a film maker!!

  • pick up a world history book,

pick up one from US and few from europe, and one from canada

    compare

  • maybe because you are confusing a cinematic experience with reading books.

  • is that how you're writing off the huge suggestions made in your video?

  • i don't need to write anything off, you are the one who think they are huge suggestions.

  • "Anything to back these facts?" Yeah, history. Are you suggesting America did not intervene in these nations, most times to remove a democratically elected leader to install a puppet government/pro-West dictator?

Noam Chomky's "Hegemony or Survival" touches on the US role as imperialist power. He processes newspaper articles and government documents dealing with some of the invasions show here.

Or would you like written evidence from all parties involved?

  • yeah deemortiz, America's 'envolvement'

    mhm, very justified

just like bombing a nation whose population is largely children

War against terror? So war isn't terror these days?

  • oh my god demortiz you´re such a typical stupid gringo i cant beleive how much your brain is washed go and study more about your awful and fucked country

  • lol @ legitimate

  • give your legitimate reasons to the inoccent and unaware killed, the families of those and the citizens of countries with puppet leaders.

  • you forgot the 1967 - 1974 dictatorship in Greece and the americal role in the turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974

  • thanx

i know the list goes on and on

  • @telistse

    That was a legitimate invasion.

  • Well done.

  • America is an imperialistic state, that cares for ruling others, america is drunk with power and because of it going down the shitter. its not anti american to question and go against bad judgment that stupid power hungry leaders make, it is anti american to go with everything your leaders do without questioning, because your asisting in the decay of the state, fucking retard.

  • oh shut the fuck up cawillruletheworld. Weve killed over 600,000 people in iraq alone, yeah we bombed the shit out of their schools and homes and hospitals, and now where rebuilding, fucking retarded fag. we arnt buying iraqi oil either, were stealing it. Bush himself stated that were "using" Iraq's oil supply. yeah iraq's are terrorists. people who fight invaders are terrorists, dumbass. shut the fuck up and get out of here you fucking loser.

  • The only one who needs to shut the fuck up is youdartha999. If you haven't noticed the vast majority of Iraqi deaths have been at the hands of other iraqis and al qaeda members. If you can't get that through your head you are a dumbass. We bombed the empty schools hopspitals and homes that were being used by insurgents to fire on troops. You are an America hater, go burn in hell asshat.

  • "If you haven't noticed the vast majority of Iraqi deaths have been at the hands of other iraqis and al qaeda members."

and where did u noticed that from?? the drive by media?!?!?! pantagon dont give a shit about counting iraqi bodies..so how the hell did u get this info?

i love how u ignored all the counterpoints that i posted and went straight back to ur american supremacist bullshit talkin points..i can easly remove ur comments but they show how ignorant some amecans can be.

  • Where did you get the idea that all these Iraqi deaths are at the hands of the US??? Do you think that we detonate the car bombs in the crowded markets? Do you think we are the ones who plant the IEDs in the roads that blow up innocent Iraqis and US soldiers?

  • i never said that.i questioned u

  • Food for thought:

When your country is invaded, your home burned, your family killed, and your religion shamed and blasphemed, there is nothing left of your entire legacy - and no hope for its future.

In the interest of freedom, in the fight for American liberty ... legacy is dead.

To have your life disturbed by the mere thought of major onslaught and intrusion by foriegn soldiers is terrifying, scaring, and a nightmare.

To have it done for every generation - is murder.

  • Here is some food for thought just for you:

When your country is being reconstructed by people who volunteered to be there in the first place, they build schools, police stations, roads, with billions of dollars. Then a suicide bomber blows up that school, the same school where your child attends. Now you know how the Sunni Iraqis felt when they sided with the US forces in 2007.

  • we used their old schools as offices soon after we burnt their capitol to the ground, took over their hospitals, brutalized their men, and re-directed their oil and welath to dubia.

  • We built back schools, we built back and sent aid to hospitals. The ones who are taking over hospitals are the same terrorists who suicide bomb markets. If you haven't noticed we still buy Iraqi oil. I don't know where you get this crap from. Also out of curiosity, who are you supporting for president, and what ideology do you follow.

  • who is we? u got %70 percent rate of inflation &

Iraqi unemployment is up to 60%

with 3 hours of electricity and water and u gonna blame all that on the alqaidah?

  • LOL @ volunteered

    ah...that narrative u r describing is silly

  • This is a shame.

I love America. I love our people. How could we?

I know that we aren't the best. We get lazy, we get tired, we are over worked at times and underworked - laid up doing things we shouldn't with borrowed time and borrowed money but - for the love of God - how could we.

This is murder. We are murderers. THERE IS NO EXCUSE for this type of behavior.

If you are patriotic, or even human - you must help put a stop to this.

  • anscfoster: You just can't admit that we have done any good in this world have you. You do not love America, nor do you love the ones who protect it. Our soldiers are not murderers, they are brave young men and women who take on our enemies face to face, now matter what the conflict. It doesn't matter you agree with the wars or not, the fact of the matter is, while our soldiers are fighting and dying you have the audacity to make such an unwarranted, despicable comment against them is sickening.

  • To me, it is sickening to keep people fighting for our freedoms, long after we found that the entire thing was a giant lie. LONG ago, we were told of the lies.

They know, we know, the whole world knows. It was a lie.

People are dying. Americans - Iraqies - Iranians soon. How many more?

How many more for a war built on lies?

To be American - is to love.

To be American - is to be honest.

    Don't condone murder.

  • "To me, it is sickening to keep people fighting for our freedoms, long after we found that the entire thing was a giant lie. LONG ago, we were told of the lies." you obviously do don't see the bigger picture do you, Iraq is now a prime battlefield in the War on Terror.

"People are dying. Americans - Iraqies - Iranians soon. How many more? "

That is war my friend. You just don't think anything is worth fighting for anymore.

  • I think LIES are not worth fighting for.

The terrorists were ALL from Suadi ARabia. WEapons of Mass destructionw as a LIE.

Sudam NEVER allowed terrorists in his country - he killed them.

There is no reason to be there.

Pull your head out of your ass and be a patriot.

  • "The terrorists were ALL from Suadi ARabia. WEapons of Mass destructionw as a LIE."

15/19 were from Saudi Arabia, and how can weapons of mass destruction be a lie, you even admitted that we sold them to him. If Saddam never had supported terrorists, then why did he pay 25K to each family of a suicide bomber? "Pull your head out of your ass and be a patriot."

Last time I checked, patriotism was a love for ones country. By that definition, I am a patriot.

  • Sudam Hussein paying 25,000 to each suicide family was a joke. It was an American media joke. It was not, is not, and will never be true no matter how many times someone like you buys it.

We are killing people. That is not good for our country.

We can't kill the entire world and at current they are TURNING against our murderous ways.

  • "you even admitted that we sold them to him'

that was in the 80s..chimical weapons has en experation date on them and can be easlly traced..%99 were destroyed in the 90s..how do i know that..b/c i have a memory that spans beyond 2001

funny said that bc Reagen took him offthe terrorist list in 1980

"If Saddam never had supported terrorists, then why did he pay 25K to each family of a suicide bomber"

if that was true then those bombers are Israels problem's not a threat to us national security

  • love can be blinding

    and clouds ur judgment

  • "Don't condone murder."

It is absolutely hysterical how you tell me to condemn or troops for "murder". Yet I have never seen you condemn the terrorists who kill the Iraqi civilians you care so much about.

  • The "terrorist" are Iraqi civilians. You are missing that point. You either see it and don;t want to acknowledge it or you are an idiot.

  • "The "terrorist" are Iraqi civilians. You are missing that point. You either see it and don;t want to acknowledge it or you are an idiot."

The terrorists are Al-Qaeda members who established themselves in Iraq, and the Iranian revolutionary guard. I already told you earlier, these are not innocent civilians. Or does car bombing a market constitute an innocent civilian these days?

  • When an innocent civilian loses his job, his father, his religion, his leader, his home, and his life - he often times has nothing better to do than join the "terrorists"

You are ignoring that fact that Hussein hated terrorists, did not allow them in his country, and did not have ONE car bombing until we came in and did what we did.

  • "When an innocent civilian loses his job, his father, his religion, his leader, his home, and his life - he often times has nothing better to do than join the "terrorists"

That is how that "civil war" that is now over formed. This is why it is so important that we not just cut and run now, because by leaving iraq in chaos would just make more iraqis want to join al qaeda.

  • no..most irqis are shia and secular sunni who hate alqidah..its' impossible for iraq to become another Afghanistan

  • "The terrorists are Al-Qaeda members who established themselves in Iraq"

yes and thats iraqs problem not yours. esp. when they are %5 of the insurgency.

any thug can cailm to be alqaidah.. u have to go after the ones who did 911 and bring justice..and establish and empire and secret prisons.

and actually the whole art of car bombs is created by Israeli intelligences agencies..not the arabs

  • I could careless who invented them, why are you justifying the people who use them against the Iraqi people and US soldiers?

Considering Al-Qaeda is the group we are trying to hunt down, it is our problem also. It is also our responsibility since we have invaded Iraq, to make it peaceful once again.

  • as long as u are occupying it in defiance of it's population its not considered help!besides america is going broke..u cant afforded to spend millions a day and over extend the militry for long.

i already explained to u that occupying iraq is counterproductive to fighting terrorism!

  • NO. no. and another no.

I did not "condemn our troops for murder" You are using the worn out Fox news version of life sir.

I am "condmening" the American people for allowing our soldiers to be murdered. The cuase for war was a lie, every detail of the war was a lie, every second of it has been a godamn lie.

If you can't see the lies, than I doubt you see much else.

    We are through here.

  • "I did not "condemn our troops for murder" You are using the worn out Fox news version of life sir. "

Spare the "holier than thou" attitude about this issue, I don't pay attention to the drive by media, it is very biased one way or another.

"I am "condmening" the American people for allowing our soldiers to be murdered." Didn't sound like what you said before but I'll take you for your word.

As I already said, save the investigation for later, finish the battle first.

  • How about investigating wether the battle should have ever started and then fix the damn thing. You aren't using rational thought.

Kill the bastards and then decide if we should have is not American.

  • drive by media!!!!!!!!

    it makes since now

u are on oxycotton like him

  • I want EVERYONE to hear me - and learn.

It doesn't matter if you agree with the wars or not, the fact of the matter is, we know that what was told to these young men that are protecting us was a blatant lie. We also know that our own vice president was a major player in the company that earns profit from this war.

While our soldiers are fighting and dying we ignore the truth becuase we don't want to talk about it.

  • "It doesn't matter if you agree with the wars or not, the fact of the matter is, we know that what was told to these young men that are protecting us was a blatant lie." At first they weren't, I agree. But now that Iraq is a prime battlefield in the war on terror, combating them in Iraq, destroying their forces, preventing Iran from transporting weapons through Iraq to hezbollah is what we are doing there now. It is protecting us.

  • So let me get this right - you tell your country a bunch of BLATANT LIES to get them to go into a country where terrorism is NOT ALLOWED. You drive their leader into a hole in the ground, ass rape their men in prison (with a camera), you take their schools, religion, hospitals, and food sources, and when they begin to fight back it is now a "prime battlefield in the war on terror"

There were NO terrorists there before we came.

  • Do you not realize that we are building schools, hospitals and sending aid over there. But guess who destroys the schools that we build, the terrorists. You do not realize that Al-Qaeda and the IRGC are recruiting iraqis to fight us.

  • are you serious? u cant have brains and think like that!!!

  • "But now that Iraq is a prime battlefield in the war on terror"

the term "war on terror" is flawed but beside the point..u fight terrorism with law enforcement..not occupying arab/Muslim land against the well of their populations..that insinuates more radicals to gain grounds which is counter productive to combating terrorists

  • I agree, nation building does not help us. But you must also track down terrorists abroad, using covert ops, with a conventional backing.

  • no..thats how u create more terrorists..haven't u learned from the 80s!!!

CIA covert Op are unconstitutional, i assume that the constitution matters to u.

  • whatever..

they aren't doing anybody a favor when they are show up uninvited violating Iraqi sovereignty and distrying it's infrastructure and privatizing it's recourses(stealing it).

u think they needed ur help!!the iraqi army was one of the largest in the mideast, and iraq's education system and heath care was free and up to the standards on the UN..until they fuckin bombed it all up!!!

  • You forgot about the rape rooms, torture chambers, the mass graves, and the dictator.

  • yeah suddam was known to be tough on intergeneration( like cheney and rumsfeld) before he became president but that didnt stop 3 US administrations (among a list of countries) from giving him billions of dollars and exceptional support.

  • i'm so glad the US empire is crumbling, finally there is hope for real democracy.

  • Thanks for upping this

Every single American needs to be made to watch this before they spew the "they hate us for our freedom" bullshit.

It's sad to see that people defend this policy.

I'm doubtful that they are in fact human beings.

  • While this video does point out the flaws in American interventionist foreign policy. It seems that you are doing no more but blaming the US for all of the worlds problems. Has it occurred to you were unintended consequences of our actions. They were not purposely done, and thats what people are getting out of your video. Thus this video is nothing more than propaganda that sprouts hatred towards America.

  • "It seems that you are doing no more but blaming the US for all of the worlds problems."

    not at all

    "They were not purposely done"

    thats a poor excuse

"Thus this video is nothing more than propaganda that sprouts hatred towards America."

some might think that this is propagandist clip but only if u were a person driven by emotions and not facts and logic.

  • "Thats a poor excuse."

Not at all. Do you honestly think we intended to kill civilians with these policies. I'm not fan of intervention, but I know Anti-Americanism when I see it. The whole movie "Bowling for Columbine" is just an anti-2nd amendment, anti-American fiesta. While we obviosly have far different views on the subject, I respect your opinion nonetheless.

  • "Do you honestly think we intended to kill civilians with these policies"

yes, those civilians weren't viewed as such, to the US supremacist and neo-cons amreicans kill only bad ppl

besides..there is no "we". u sound like a sensible citizen that has nothing to do with american supremacist

  • "yes, those civilians weren't viewed as such, to the US supremacist and neo-cons amreicans kill only bad ppl"

This is where our fundamental disagreement takes place. In my opinion, we have taken so many steps to protect civilians in war, that it has compromised our ability to fight a war.

Especially in Vietnam and the Mid East, where the enemy's blend in and hide amongst civilians.

  • "In my opinion, we have taken so many steps to protect civilians in war"

do u have facts to back that opinion?

  • Yes. All of the US soldiers that have died in Iraq due to our rules of engagement.

  • The fact of the matter is - we are fighting civilians.

These countries we are hitting now do not have soldiers. They do not have armies. They do not have navies. They do not have airforces. They have civilians. Little old men and little bittie young men all carrying guns they bought from an arms dealer supplied by an American.

    They are civilians.

They love their God -their land - their family. They are fighting, our soldiers.

  • anscfoster:

"The fact of the matter is - we are fighting civilians." Do you realize why we are fighting civilians? Because Al Qaeda, is made up of civilians. But these are not the average innocent civilian. These people have been indoctrinated into a the belief that anyone who does not believe in Islam must be either converted or killed. They use suicide tactics, they do not dress up in a uniform, the dress up in normal civilian attire, basically using the civilian populace as human shields.

  • They do not have uniforms. They cannot afford them. This is becuase just this morning, they decided to get a gun and go to war.

You see, someone's brother, uncle, cousin, mother, child, granfather, and friend was killed today. Bu US soldiers that couldn;t tell the difference between men with guns and men without.

Bombers, yes - but they're usually cars.

So, his army, his life, his family -was taken. His religion, unshamedly stripped. He had no time for or money for a uniform sir.

  • "They do not have uniforms. They cannot afford them. "

They do not wear uniforms nor do they buy them not because they can't afford them, they do so because they want to blend in as civilians. Do you not understand this? You should be blaming the terrorists who dress up as civilians for the purpose of using them as human shields.

  • "You see, someone's brother, uncle, cousin, mother, child, granfather, and friend was killed today. Bu US soldiers that couldn't tell the difference between men with guns and men without."

Or, more likely they died from a car bomb that ran into one of the open air markets or restaurants they were at. Why do you sympathize with terrorists?

"Bombers, yes - but they're usually cars. "

Explain, are you blaming cars for the bombings?

  • NO.

I am telling you that you are arguing without re-reading the post. Aren't you?

You said that you couldn;t tell the difference in a terrorist and a civilian - they all look alike.

I said - the bombers are usually CARS. Not people.

    With a few excpetions.

Listen, put yourself in their shoes - for five minutes.

You must pull your head out of your ass and see at least half of both sides.

  • terrorists dont target soldiers..only civilians

  • If so, then why is Al Qaeda fighting the US soldiers in Afghanistan right now?

  • b/c the US soldiers in Afghanistan!!

terrorist are individuals who kill civilians, insurgencies or resistance fight a regulated armed forces.

in the 80s the current groups in Afghanistan would be called freedom fighters..now days they are terrorists..funny

  • to anyone wanting to know more about the history of Afghanistan and the development of the Taliban - look up: "Taliban" by Ahmed Rashid , Yale University Press

  • *Continued*

anscfoster: "Little old men and little bittie young men all carrying guns they bought from an arms dealer supplied by an American." Absolute BS! We are fighting enemy combatants that have been indoctrinated into hating "infidels". They get their weapons from Iran in the Iraq battlefield. In Afghanistan they get them from radical Pakistani tribes and from Iran. They are not just civilians, that are enemy combatants that would kill you and your family with no hesitation.

  • We have sold weapons to Iraq and Iran on numerous occasions, on a large scale, for the past twenty years. We sold guns to one to kill the other and then turned around and gave guns to the other to kill the other.

Are these not facts you are aware of or are you ignoring them?

  • "We have sold weapons to Iraq and Iran on numerous occasions, on a large scale, for the past twenty years."

The weapons we sold to Iran and Iraq were chemical, and aerial weapons, not road side bombs. So yes I am aware of these facts, but I know the true side of these facts.

  • Guns. Gatlin guns. Hand granades. Even flame throwers.

If you know the "true" side of selling our ENEMIES weapons to kill eachother than give it to me. Otherwise, go to hell.

You cannot CANNOT support this war under any circumstance and not be a warmongering death drumb beater with no compassion.

The only REASON terorism exists in the first place is becuase for twenty years we poked, prodded, and rattled their cages.

  • "Guns. Gatlin guns. Hand granades. Even flame throwers." If you have evidence to back that claim I will believe you, not saying your wrong but provide some evidence.

"The only REASON terrorism exists in the first place is because for twenty years we poked, prodded, and rattled their cages."

Wrong, you do not understand that Islam has been with war with its neighbor since its conception. They have been beaten down and then they regroup and fight again. We are still in that cycle.

  • We built that cycle.

  • "you do not understand that Islam has been with war with its neighbor since its conception.'

and how do u understand islam..do u speak arabic? have u studied islam academically ? or do u just read blogs?

  • Ok let me simplify this for you. They invaded and conquered the middle east, moved on to brutally invade Africa, moved on to invade Europe through spain, were eventually pushed back into Africa. Now lets look at today. Africa, muslims murdering non muslims, in Chechnya, muslim rebels continue to fight the russian presence in the region, russia, muslim terrorists shoot up a russian school, Europe, anti west muslim riots are the rule over there nowadays, Muslims battle indians over kashmir.

  • simplify!!!who said i need simplification to understand the mid east???? its too funny when whity Mcwhite is teaching an arab about his history LOL

    u r very misguided..

it's very obvious that u don't speak Arabic or studied islam101

u sound like a typical post-911 self proclaimed islamic scholars..

plz dont speak about a subject u know jack about

  • Instead of telling me how I am misguided, show where I am wrong, I said that Islam has been at war with its neighbors since its conception, I pointed out many conflicts to back up my point, now show me where I am wrong here.

  • i dont remember volunteering to be ur personal teacher

showing where u are wrong can take a while. u need to read up.

for a starter..Muslims didn't invade the mid east...they ARE from the mid east.

  • Little old men and little bittie young men all carrying guns they bought from an arms dealer supplied by an American." Absolute BS!

no..they have been reports ab marines selling m16s to iraqis

"they get their weapons from Iran in the Iraq battlefield"

they get them from saudi arabia and jordan too which are us allies too!!

"they are not just civilians, that are enemy combatants that would kill you and your family with no hesitation."

dude this isnt 24!this is real life

  • "no..they have been reports ab marines selling m16s to iraqis" Very few at most, most soldiers do that for income sadly. "they get them from saudi arabia and jordan too which are us allies too!!" I totally agree, the saudis are snakes, but since we have allowed ourselves to be dependent on their oil we are f'ed in the a. "dude this isnt 24!this is real life" This isn't 24, but my point still stands.

  • lol @ snakes

"to be dependent on their oil we are f'ed in the a."

    umm.u not really.

KSA is third or fourth, america gets its oil primely from Canada mexico and and Venezuela

  • So tired of that fucking song on all the videos with the mass killings. Cant you narrate one?

  • I envy the Iraqi youth for standing up against a military regime in their country and fighting it. Not the crazy militant Muslims, but the youth who fight for their freedom.

  • does any arrogant american feel the need to apologize to the world for all the murdering that this nation has done through its existense

  • i guess i just happen to put less emphasis on Moore him self and more on the point behind the clip, i dont seem to mind this clip b/c i know the background to most of those events and aware that some facts are poorly worded but it just give a glimpse of a missing picture.

if some one decides to "learn about history" from a film maker then that their fault for being stupid.

i also happen to appreciates his cinematography.

  • America is not the worst but not the best.

  • America sucks.

  • i don't understand why u think that i'm biased and don't like like
