Not at all. Do you honestly think we intended to kill civilians with these policies. I'm not fan of intervention, but I know Anti-Americanism when I see it. The whole movie "Bowling for Columbine" is just an anti-2nd amendment, anti-American fiesta. While we obviosly have far different views on the subject, I respect your opinion nonetheless.

This is where our fundamental disagreement takes place. In my opinion, we have taken so many steps to protect civilians in war, that it has compromised our ability to fight a war.
Especially in Vietnam and the Mid East, where the enemy's blend in and hide amongst civilians.

The fact of the matter is - we are fighting civilians.
These countries we are hitting now do not have soldiers. They do not have armies. They do not have navies. They do not have airforces. They have civilians. Little old men and little bittie young men all carrying guns they bought from an arms dealer supplied by an American.
They are civilians.
They love their God -their land - their family. They are fighting, our soldiers.

These people have been indoctrinated into a the belief that anyone who does not believe in Islam must be either converted or killed. They do not have uniforms. They cannot afford them. This is becuase just this morning, they decided to get a gun and go to war.
You see, someone's brother, uncle, cousin, mother, child, granfather, and friend was killed today. Bu US soldiers that couldn;t tell the difference between men with guns and men without.
Bombers, yes - but they're usually cars.
So, his army, his life, his family -was taken. His religion, unshamedly stripped. He had no time for or money for a uniform sir.

Or, more likely they died from a car bomb that ran into one of the open air markets or restaurants they were at. Why do you sympathize with terrorists?

We are fighting enemy combatants that have been indoctrinated into hating "infidels". They get their weapons from Iran in the Iraq battlefield. In Afghanistan they get them from radical Pakistani tribes and from Iran. They are not just civilians, that are enemy combatants that would kill you and your family with no hesitation.

We have sold weapons to Iraq and Iran on numerous occasions, on a large scale, for the past twenty years. We sold guns to one to kill the other and then turned around and gave guns to the other to kill the other.
Are these not facts you are aware of or are you ignoring them?

The weapons we sold to Iran and Iraq were chemical, and aerial weapons, not road side bombs. So yes I am aware of these facts, but I know the true side of these facts.

Ok let me simplify this for you. They invaded and conquered the middle east, moved on to brutally invade Africa, moved on to invade Europe through spain, were eventually pushed back into Africa. Now lets look at today. Africa, muslims murdering non muslims, in Chechnya, muslim rebels continue to fight the russian presence in the region, russia, muslim terrorists shoot up a russian school, Europe, anti west muslim riots are the rule over there nowadays, Muslims battle indians over kashmir.

I totally agree, the saudis are snakes, but since we have allowed ourselves to be dependent on their oil we are f'ed in the a. i guess i just happen to put less emphasis on Moore him self and more on the point behind the clip, i dont seem to mind this clip b/c i know the background to most of those events and aware that some facts are poorly worded but it just give a glimpse of a missing picture.
if some one decides to "learn about history" from a film maker then that their fault for being stupid.
i also happen to appreciates his cinematography.
