  • I used to be an esper, until I took an arrow to the knee...

  • @OmnomTheDevourer Then you became a magicite.

  • Too bad Diablos sucks, he's the coolest summon besides Alexander.

  • con mi olfato me doy cuenta q italia sigue siendo torre de babel... mucha dispercion hacia el resto del mundo... no se dispersen mas. unanse y acoplense a la corriente esper un idioma "el espiritu"

  • Just out of curiousity, why did you include guys that AREN'T available in FFVI? Don't get me wrong, it was really well done, but I just thought it might be a little misleading.

  • @xyzn1 Like who?

  • @SykoSkillz Where to begin

First off, I thought Diablos and Leviathan were only available as a "Guardian Forces" in Final Fantasy 8.

Second, while you do run into small cactaurs in 3/6, the jumbo cactuar doesn't appear AT ALL and neither of them are Espers / Phantom Beasts in 3/6 (Jumbo Cactaur is a GF in 8, though).

Finally, Gilgamesh is in 6, but only available in the Gameboy Advance version I think (I have it for a SNES emulator and haven't found him. I may consult Youtube and try again).

  • @xyzn1 No, i think they're all in this game, maybe some are only in the gba version but I have used them all, i have the gba version

  • @SykoSkillz

That may be possible. I have only played the snes version on an emulator (and still haven't gotten around to beating it yet). I only commented because I thought that the ones on the version I have were the ONLY Espers available, but I didn't think about other versions having additional Phantom Beasts. Sorry for the hassle, but I thought you editted some of them in.

  • @xyzn1 This is the Advance port of the game. Espers were added. Gilgamesh ain't in the original for the snes

  • Blah blah blah! Tidal Wave!

  • Holy shit that song in the beginning is awesome.i loved the boss theme from this game and that arrangement of it sounds great!

  • You should really add their names in annotations.

  • @Addicted2gaming 0:23 Ramuh, 0:35 Kirin, 0:47 Siren, 1:03 Stray / Cait Sith, 1:12 Ifirit, 1:25 Shiva, 1:39 Unicorn, 1:48 Maduin, 2:06 Shoat, 2:17 Phantom, 2:26 Carbunkyl, 2:36 Bismarch, 2:50 Golem, 3:00 Zoneseek, 3:14 Seraphim, 3:23 Palador, 3:40 Fenrir, 3:58 Tritoch, 4:11 Terrato, 4:26 Starlet, 4:36 Alexander, 4:52 Phoenix, 5:06 Odin, 5:20 Raiden, 5:36 Bahamut, 5:51 Ragnarok, 6:03 Crusader, 6:24 Leviathan, 6:44 & 6:57 Cactuar, 7:15 to 8:33 Gigamesh, and finally 8:34 Diablos.

  • @DTSephiroth Your effort must be applauded and thumbed up. You sir are a trooper. ;)

  • @Addicted2gaming This was as much a help to everyone as it is an experiment in how many time links can be squeezed into one comment :)

  • not does this still hold the title of last great 2d RPG, but has the best total soundtrack of ANY RPG. music portrays story more than voice acting!

  • Of course, Terra would summon her father! ❤

  • this game is really dark =/

  • holy smokes. how many summonings are there?! i remember alot of them but the ones towards the end i have never seen before....

  • @dannysimion some of the later ones are Gameboy Advance port extras, I think they're exclusive to the GBA cart.

  • oh man. im a magic whore in this title and so i went crazy using all magics and summonings....

  • i've never played FFVI and i always wanted to. it's awesome that a majority of the Final Fantasy summons (7 and on) based their summons off of FFVI. and i'm guessing that FFVI has the most summons in a FF game??? or does VII???

  • @nedoz ...That's like saying these creatures were born with Final Fantasy VI. It wasn't the first title in the series, y'know? Just sayin'.

  • My personal favorite of any FF, because it is the darkest one of any of them, and Steampunk is always boss.

  • I think some of these espers were censored, i remember being able to see Siren's butt on my ps1 version xD

  • to all that like the music check out kurikinton fox. FF with a Metal twist

  • awesome video!, hope SE somedays makes a remake of Final Fantasy VI,

btw, did u make the sabotenders, Diabolos and Gilgamesh summons? or they really appear?

  • @DanteLanza They were added to the GBA version along with new dungeons

  • @ultimaT awesome, and I have the game somewhere, gotta find it lol

  • @DanteLanza They are from FFVI Advance (for Game Boy Advance... duh!). It has 4 new summons, Leviathan, Sabotender, Gilgamesh and Diablos. Plus a new secret dungeon and an extra boss rush mode sorta place!

  • i ahve ni\o alexander and ragnarok and jabotender and diablos

  • hey i liked this ''the decisive battle'' version... who arranged it and where i can find it?

  • dancing mad <3

  • Hey MasterLL where did you got those Remixes? or the name of the album? because they are great and it doesnt sound like the ones the Black Mages did ^^

  • How many summons are in this game? thats a lot!

  • I think it has the most including the newer ones form the Advanced version I think: 28 summons I believe?

  • @chapacoka Oh ok, so there are some new ones from the GBA version, i was like, what the hell! i played this game upside down in the snes i never saw the Excalibur or the Dark Messenger spers hehehe xD

  • Whoa, I've got a lot of work to do still...

Bahamut in this looks really cool and a lot like Shinryu from original Final Fantasy!

  • I'd never seen Diabolos in FF6... and I see that it's just like in FF8

  • What Summon is that at 6:13

  • Crusader

  • @Erickmello3600 that's correct

  • whats the name of the second song and whers ir from?

  • The new espers are great, and i are happy for the incorporation of Leviatan fo that are no Leviatan in the original version of the game and is one of the most used summons in all the games of the saga of Final Fantasy.

    Sorry for the bad inglish.

  • diablo looks sick

  • I believe Final Fantasy died after X. I wasn't a massive fan of Final Fantasy X either. The newest additions of Final Fantasy really are about as good as a gorilla taking a shit on your wife. VI, I got on Christmas Day as a present and I can honestly say it is amazing. I have the PS version where the graphics are a little more modernised than the original, but essentially still the same. VI and IX are the best games for me with VII bringing up the rear. Final Fantasy nowadays is dead IMO.

  • SO true...

  • @DanTheGuitarMan1994 i agree my friend

  • Thanks.

  • u have god taste master ll this was also my first favorite final fantasy game

  • either way

  • Gotta love the S.S.H.

  • A late note: Summons were rather weak in FF6 compared to stronger spells. Kinda sad when in other games, they're among the most effective spells.

  • after a certain level...everything becomes redundant b/c your characters can deal 9999 with regular attacks...i remember the contest EGM had with you beating Kelfa with your characters as IMPs...that was lame b/c even becoming an IMP your character can do 9999 :)

but i think the reasoning behind this was b/c the characters bonded with the espers and fused their strength and abilities to the own characters attributes. hence you have to equip the esper to learn new spells and abilities.

  • True, but the damage multipliers with the right weapons got pretty high; and an Imp with certain equipment can be uber (though said equipment is rather useless if you're in normal status)

  • friggin caith-sith from FF7 is a summon lol

  • I think you mean: Cait-Sith from FFVI is a party member in FFVII.

  • @Nesaru either way lol

  • Very cool version of "The Decisive Battle"

  • Esta padre, aunque son los esperes del juego para DS, por que gilgamesh no lo recuerdo en final fantasy VI, cierto ?

  • excelente compilación, pero me gustaria que pusieras el nombre de todos los spears, para recordarlos. gracias

  • puedes verlos online

    para eso sirve google XD

  • played this Game just a few Months ago... its so great! especially when kefka destroys the World... thats so AWESOME ! This Guy is more Badass than Sephiroth could ever been :D

  • its what ive been saying all this time! lol

kefka = best ff villain, imo

  • kefka will own sephiroth and terra will rape cloud perfect match sephiroth is some confused loser he doesnt even know the LUCRECIA is his real mother

  • kefka is the pinnacle of final fantasy villainy. support of the king, back stabbing, plotting, becoming a god...hell destroying the world...

to me...7 was the age when FF become emo...whiny bitchy tweens lol

  • lol i highly agree

  • @Daihatschi O Rly? You're comparing the psycho clown to the most power member of SOLDIER? You must be joking.

  • @DTSephiroth Let's face it. Sephiroth was a whiny twit with a mother-complex. Kefka wanted to kill ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. AND HE ACTUALLY SUCCEEDED IN HIS PLANS, unlike Sephiroth.

  • @BluJav333 Only because Terra and the rest of The Returners were too stupid to see through Gestahl's deception and Gestahl was too stupid to see that Kefka would turn against him. Cloud and his party were a bit more intelligent than that. Don't get me wrong, I love both games and I love all the villians from them, but if Sephiroth was against peps with the same mentality the heroes of FFVI, he would have succeeded too.

Whiny twit with a mother complex? You're thinking Kadaj.

  • @BluJav333 Whiny twit with a mother-complex? You're thinking Oedipus Complex, a Messiah Complex, a Megalomania, that'd be the correct terminology to use there.

Still... Sephiroth IS eternal - cannot be killed or dispelled. Your argument is now flawed.

Nomura has also stated that it doesn't even make sense for the series to have a villain remotely as powerful or enigmatic as Sephiroth anymore. Your argument became even less valid.

That said, Kefka died. Your argument is now devoid of validity.

  • Thanks for this video MasterLL. Well, thanks for all of your vids. :)

  • I love how he had Terra summon her father, lol.

  • k, this is also my favorite FF game and one of my top games ever... but i have a question

i can never figure out what to do with ppl like strago, relm, mog... i never put in the time to train them cause i thought they sucked.. how do u train them and are they worth it??

  • How do you train them? Put them in your party and level them up, same as anybody else.

Relm's "Paint" ability lets her clone a monster, under your control. Strago is the Blue Mage, and learns Enemy Skills. Mog learns dances somehow. See GameFAQs for more details; this game is nearly 15 years old, and there's tons of data for it.

  • Relm: Equip brush and Fake Mustache= Manipulating enemies

Mog: Fight one battle in a different terrain to gain another dance (dances are without a doubt, DEFINITELY worth it)

Strago: get hit with special attack, he's a blue mage, come on, that one should be simple. (The only thing I ever use Strago for is the Rippler Bug, other than that he might as well not exist in my game, lol)

  • @lennethebeauty what i like about blue mage.. is thay can copy lvl 5 death

  • You do realise that this game was made Before FF7 right?

  • all the FF7 fanboys r like that

they think FF7 was the first game of the series when square made 6 games before it that r way better lol XD

  • yep yep, very true so far,

  • exacto!!!!. Si existe un Final Fantasy perfecto es .. FF VI

  • 7:15

cue Clash on the Big Bridge... NOW.

  • @TARDISES yeah hahaha

  • bahamut is my favorite.

  • Excalipoor is too strong! It kills almost everyone! Why is this in the game XD

  • lol good one

  • I heard this being ported to ds!

  • Sigh* The DS couldn't handle remaking this game for it's system. Though I'm against the concept of them porting the same game twice in three years, IV was do-able due to it's linear story line, making voice acting much more easy to do. But VI is all over the place, and you can practically customise how you play it an infinite ammount of times. During the many sidequests, it's always your party leader talking, so they would have to dubb the same line for different VA's. PS3 Remake is possible...

  • No they wouldn't. Who says the game would HAVE to have any voice acting?. The 3D would be awsome and I wouldn't under estimate the ds. The games that people thought could never exist are comming. Things some people thought were hard are comming.

Take kingdom hearts 358/2 days for example. Almost 20 characters, all in full

3D. Voice acting. If it did have voice acting it could be for set people in your party. Ds games are actually really capable, people always put it down tho!

  • Oh, no. Knowing how they Did IV, they would HAVE to do something similar. Than they would call it the Fantasy for DS compilation, like how they had the Fantasy for Advance compilation. IV, had characters with set lines, and set equipment, you would always see edge with two swords, and the DS could do that. But in VI, you could have any character with two weapons, or with anyone holding a weapon in both hands, and the Meritaward Gives them any equipment. A DS remake would be an insult to the GBA!

  • Also, did you know that all those characters in 358/2 days are only playable in a multiplayer version? yeah, in single player you can only play as Roxas.

I love the DS, but let the DS thrive on games that wern't ported in the last two years.

  • Yeah, I have played 358.

The characters are playable in mission mode. But story mode some times gives you AI partners. They remade III for DS then IV for ds. Wouldn't be suprised at V for ds.

V for ds, thought, could be similar to how III was done with the classes. Definately possible in 3D. Square enix is working on the final fantasy gaiden 4 crystals game now. Maybe FFV ds will come after, maybe not, who knows. No one can say they won't, square always has a way of doing things :P

  • Hmmm, well... V's Job system was alot more complicated than III's for obvious reasons, namely the ability customization and twice as many classes.

A recent interview with Nomura actually confirmed that they "Had no plans to release the other two games, though it was an interesting thought"

The original director of IV actually stated that IV was released again due to "The After Years" comming for the Wii, and he felt that the remake could help recap the story again so people would know

  • What's going on in the sequel. Not to mention that IV had that NES SNES transitinal graphics, that were felt not to be tweaked enough in the GBA version. III was of course remade due to the fact that it had no subsiquent remakes, unlike the others, and North America had yet to even play an official version of it.

Actually, the director said that he would rather make a SEQUEL to Final Fantasy IX, after all his current projects are finnished, then deal with the other titles again, at the moment.

  • Excalipoor ftw.

  • Yeah i know,

    that's what i said too.

  • Where did you get these versions of the music? Might need to purchase them myself.

  • i have almost have all the espers i just need five but i cant find them or how to get them.

  • makes me want to play FFVI..

  • lol power metal rendition of FF music...

    epic stuff.

  • Woah.... at 6:33 Mog uses an esper I've never seen. Is it not on the super nintendo version?? I've beaten the game like 273427643 times, so this comes as a shock to me.

  • It's leviathan. You get it by taking the ferry from south figaro to nikeah. I know that it's on the gba version and it is probably on the snes version aswell. If you fight it, be careful, because he's strong.

  • its becoz ur lying how many times youv beaten d game

  • I've at least beat it 20+ times. I've owned it for the past 15 years. I know the game inside out. It was my most favorite snes game, ever.

  • haha then play the different versions of the game in ps1 and gba haha

  • looked to me like shinryu

  • The worst part about crusader, snes version, is getting him in the WOB with the slots when you have no chance of surviving it......

  • i know i gotten it before and it ahnilates you

  • love these old final fantasy games although they feel a bit cheap these gba ported ones, should of kept them for ps1 ^^

  • col song :D

  • Classic game. One of my all time faves!

  • I want that version of Decisive Battle =D

It's not the Black Mages' version, although that is awesome too.

  • This was a great video! Great job!!

  • Thanks I'll try :D

  • Music reference plz?

  • AAAAAAARGH please someone tell me where I can find the cactus.......PLEASE

  • Go to the desert near Maranda in WoR. If you encounter a small cactus, start fighting it. You should fight a few more small cactuars before a big one comes. Prepare yourself, because the big one makes a 10k combo before it dies.

  • to be more specific, fight ten of the cactuars to encounter the gigantuar.

Hint: caist reraise on your whole party so you have a better chance of winning!

  • I tried the hard way without using reraise. This was a part of the party I used for Cactuar:

    - Cyan (stats/level/eq high enough to make 9999 dmg per strike in bushido7)

    - Edgar (Master's scroll, Ultima, 9999 hp at full hp)

  • Eeeeeveryyyybody.~ love Master LL

xD thx for the kewl vids

  • ff6 is unique in the ff series since it doesnt have a main character and its magic system, the espers is a good way for aummons compaired to ff7s materia and the gf system , I actually think ff6 is the best game I have EVER played ^^

  • my oipinion to tell is that the Gf's are very easy way to manage them still the 6 has lots of characters and lots of Espers...

  • dude, love the music, were can i get it? :D?

  • why do all the new games suck, and the old ones were so great. every final fantasy that came out after 7 sucked. it seems like they lost the magic somehow.

  • i liked 9, i liked the story in 10, didnt like 8 but thats just me, but 12! dear god, wtf is that, worst game every

  • yeah, i agree with you. some of the games after 7 were ok, but 12 was just horrendous, worst game in the series by far. there was no character development whatsoever. game play was far too technical. whoever was primarily responsible for designing 12 should be fired. maybe 13 will be better, i don't know.

  • man, you sound like a real nurd, getting so angry over videogames. you don't know fuck all about videogames. i was playing super nintendo when you were a sperm in your dads balls.

  • Comment removed

  • anger issues much? Don't think I've ever seen anyone get SO worked up over a game series

  • Oh god I hope theey realise the potential int he PSP and make a 3D remake there instead of the DS, nintendo has tons of FF spin-offs already.... I mean c'mon, we're talking about Terra, the half esper, the one and only in FF and Kefka, the most mad-ass clown there ever was, they simply have to make the re-make.....Ultimatastic!

  • DUDE!! This version of "The Decisive Battle" is awesome!!

    FAVORITE GAME EVER!

  • Still is called Diablos, Dark Messenger is his attack.

  • but he didn exist in the original FF VI

  • That Dark Messenger is called Diablos in Final Fantasy 8.

  • What is the song call?

  • decisive battle

  • 30 espers.

(Remember Odin and Raiden count as one)

  • It's official, FFVI has the largest collection of Summons in any Final Fantasy, here's hoping for a DS remake. (they did it with 3 and 4).

  • Most likely they'll focus on a FF5 remake before a 6, but something tells me an FF6 remake is bound to come to us, but probably not for awhile.

  • How did you find Merchant on the Veldt? I didn't think he showed up on the Veldt, nor is he in the bestiary.

  • im missing about 5 or 7 espers makes me mad cuz i cant find them anywhere and i dont want to use the internet for refrence

  • Actually, this is a very good exhibition MasterLL Keep it up.

  • mmmmm...Dancing Mad..good song. Thats not the Black Mages remix, is it? :]

  • This is not Danceing Mad, this is a remix of The decisive battle, good try though. BLACK MAGES RULE!!!!

  • Actually..I realized my mistake after I said it. ._.

  • yeah it's ok i made one too

  • the music is incredible, best arrangement ever!

  • great stuff, brought back a lot of memories played it when it first came out on the SNES...I noticed that there were a few added Espers...I like what they did with it

  • my cuz had this game once

  • Oh snap.....

  • God! How many summons can you pack into a game?!

  • which is the one of divine judgement?

  • I think it's Alexander.

  • how come Dark Messenger was so weak?! Does it do something else? (I haven't played FF VI advanced, just the SNES version)

  • Dark Messenger is a gravity spell.. it inflicts percent damage so it varies depending on the enemy's hp

  • 8:43 its so cute!!!! no joke

    - TxJ

  • Once, I was messing with Setzer's Slot and got 3 BARs. And it used Cleansing (Warring Triad, I think) and instantly KOed my entire party. I was like "WTF just happened?"

  • weird, but it's better off than getting 7-7-Bar

    oh that was horrid...

more on topic, it's nice to see the old espers in the remake as well as the new ones :)

  • I thought that there were more! But hey i haven't even finished the game! so Great Vid and nice music!

  • sweet music!

  • not bad i give it a 5 stars!!!!

  • Number 1 for this video!

  • Where did you get that music. It´s AWESOME!!!

  • gimme ur email and ill send it to u
