I know guards are stupid. One time when I was doing a quest for delphine which was to go inside the Thalmor embassy and take some notes about the Dragons returning. I was wearing drawven Armour (Gold) and lods of people went past me!

I did it at level 22 in wolf form then when I got to him I used my assassination skills to kill the remaining guards.

Hey I need help, so the quest is that I have to shadow him. The problem is that the place marker is outside of solitude a couple of miles away and he's nowhere to be seen. Everytime I go out of solitude it the place marker changes to back inside solitude

Got to where he's supposed to be, killed everyone, and he's not even there. So I said okay probs glitched, head back and try again. Only it's locked me in saying I need the fucking key to get back out.

Fucking joke I'm basically stuck in this place with no way out.

From the Winking Skeever, I tried stalking him but as soon as I walked out he was gone. the arrow pointed somewhere outside the city walls and underneath so idk how to find him. i saw this video and skipped ahead to kill all the bandits in the Brinewater Grotto and my quest got updated. but when i was suppose to confront Gulum-Ei he was not their and the quest arrow pointed to the same spot that idk how to get there. Help?

@Soul73x yea i looked up, in youtube, how to fix the glitch and i was suprised it worked. try to find it, it the one where you have to get on a roof and another roof then fall thru a hole.

Wtf? I walk into the empire building and he is nowhere to be seen, I use clairvoyence and it says "no direct path" when I follow the quest mark normally it just keeps sending me in a loop round the whole tunnel thing, can anyone help?

@batman61915 Same thing happened to me. Damn Lizard disapeared as soon as I left the bar. I have no idea how to fix this, but i have a feeling it happens when you try to persuade him. Don't know if intimidating him has the same chance of glitching. I'm going to try getting his stupid wine next.

Mine glitched out, when he left the Pub he vanished and now i cant find him. It keeps sending me back in Solitude for some reason, hes just nowhere to be seen. Anyone else having this problem ?

It's possible to do this quest without killing anybody, if you sneak up to the platform above gulum he will come up and speak to you.
