  • Acey de uno......

  • Just remember that brother who spits the cornbread!!

  • dudes are trippin. book of human language for sure makes top 5 all time best albums. mumbles is ridiculous. acey...cmon now

  • @th3butl3r I know! that album is so fucking great. but who the hell is Mumbles? i love the tracks he made but cant find any solo tapes or even anything about him really!

  • @olneymaryland77 He put out a solo album that is dope as fuck called transformation/illumination. He also did a project with Gone Beyond called S.E.V.A.

Both are really tight, his production has def improved since BOHL.

  • he is da best ever and freestyle fellowship is da shit

  • lol if your hatin on ace one why would you even watch this video, hes definitely one of the top 3 Mc's of all time. Anyone knows the raw talent is underground, as Talieb Kwali said, Ace one.....

  • @bigbootyluva99 Yup! Sadly to say, "Underground" iz where it's at. I am wit you on that point. But in my bookz, the only dope SOLO track from Acey is, "Amerikkka". This is a track off of a compilation called, "The Unbound Project". This "Freestyle" iz garbage though. I expect more from a Freestyle Fellowship member. Myka 9 NEVA dissapointz. He iz my fav from the crew.

    PeacE!

  • @TRUTHWILLMANIFEST whoa dude. the "only" dope track? have you ever heard his book of human language album? that entire album is easily top 5 in my books. shit man, all balls is good too. damn, you're rainin on his parade pretty hard. he's obviously just fuckin around backstage here.

  • @lpilgrm Yeah, the album iz not all what people make it out to be though. Man, fuk a "Backstage Excuse" dood. Acey can't even remember his lyric's when performing live! He iz my least fav from the FF Krew. As long as Myka and P.E.A.C.E are still droppin'. I can completely do without Acey (as far as him being a part of FF). Amerikkka is an untouchable track. And to I, it is Aceyalone's best joint to date. PeacE!

  • @TRUTHWILLMANIFEST i love amerikkka too. but i feel the guidelines is one of his best tracks lyrically speaking. amerikkka probably has a more to the point and less abstract concept. for me you can't really leave acey out of FF. they're probably my favorite rap group. and P.E.A.C.E. is actually my favorite out of all of them. but dude they are all pretty abstract and stylers of the highest calibre. i dont see how you can leave one out without the others. to each his own tho. peace.

  • The other thing I dig about Acey is his guts to try something other than the same old Hip Hop sounds we're used to. Sure Lightning Strikes was pretty hit & miss.....but It still featured Shango which is DEVASTATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His new Doo Wop Bee Bop (Northern Soul even???) Hip Hop album with the Lonely Ones which drops (finally) this Monday is great too by the way. Respect to Acey.

  • Yeah, datz right! AMATEUR!! Diz foo isn't jack, and will neva be anything without Myka 9. Talkin' bout needin' "Night School"? You truly are an "Acey Fan"! You should join his broke ass cause your just like him. Lame broke and alone! It's obvious. Datz da word. PEACE!!

  • I'm distressed that Myka 9 has fans like yourself. I WISH I was just like Acey!!!!

    SHO NUFF!!!!

  • A book of human language is a genius piece of work, and is better than any other album in hip-hop. You can't name an artist who has put out a better LP.

If you think BOHL is boring, you weren't listening. end of story.

  • "A book of human language is better than any other album in hip-hop". Obviously you have overlooked: Paid In Full, from Eric B. And Rakim, 93 Til Infinity, Souls Of Mischief, X Clan, To The East Blackwards, Boogie Down Productions, By All Means Necessary, Numerous Living Legends and CMA albums, Digable Planets, Reachin' (a new refutation of time and space), A.T.B.A.N Klann, The Grass Roots LP (which was neva released, but I got a copy), all Gangstarr albums, etc. You are definitely a dreamer!

  • Got em'. Once again, Premos production alone, will murder, can murder, and has murdered, anything mumbles has eva released and will release. Dood, this is like tryin' to compare Michael Jordan to a high school basketball player. Competition defenseless! You can't even put second rate losers on the same list as pioneers. And you tryin' to tell me that "Acey's" producer is ova Scot La Rock?? You are still dreamin'! Time to wake up! Anyhow, keep learnin' man. Hopefully you will see one day. PEACE

  • "jel anticon sweetcreaminit live bedroom mix". Bad reference! This ish ain't got nuthin' on premos production. Typical, same ol' sound, of a generic "Cut Chemist". The goal is to originate! Not duplicate! Man!! Come on bro, ya gotta come up wit somethin' betta!!?? I have been livin' the art fo a long time! How old are you, like 18-19?? Ya know, no disrespect to the "Newbees" but, "PIONEERS" created the sound that you "Youngsters" have barely jumped on. Study the masters and then come talk to me.

  • @jaytonbye Ya DJ Shadow is the best

  • @TRUTHWILLMANIFEST while you constructed quite a list here, with many great records...youre entire argument falls apart because you added in LL and CMA. while i enjoy some stuff by those cats, they are not even CLOSE to the talent acey has as a lyricist and freestyler. dude's a pioneer, and the majority of the artists you listed have nothing but the utmost respect for him as a rapper because they know what's up. i can't believe this has to be explained to you.look in the mirror, see whos dreamin

  • @lpilgrm The Grouch alone has way more consistent, well written and, thoughtful material straight from the heart. I will take The Grouch over Acey anyday. Aceyalone can be creative. Nevertheless, Acey has A LOT of boring material as well. I just look at what an Artist is kickin' in they rhyme's man. I can really respect material with meaning overall. When a kat is droppin' consistent raw azz material in every aspect. That iz where I can definitely take them serious as one who truly know's. Paz!

  • @TRUTHWILLMANIFEST i like grouch, pre-crusader for justice. after that i kinda think he fell off. even still, his raps before then weren't all that creative to me. i do agree he speaks from the heart tho. i suppose i can feel you from that angle. but ill prolly never accept the notion that grouch is more creative than acey as far styling and chopping and just lyricism in general. again, to each his own.

  • @lpilgrm Yeah, just remind Acey of one thing though. If he is considered to be a "Styler Of The Highest Calbre". He need's to remember his lyric's when performing live. PeacE!

  • @TRUTHWILLMANIFEST haha alright holmes. hes always seemed to have remembered his lyrics everytime ive seen em. peace.

  • @lpilgrm Hmmm. I can remember different when he was in the Bay. Check Aceyalone & Self Jupiter - When the Sun Took a Day Off @ Yoshi's SF. Now you know. And as I have said. I expect more from a FF krew member. Then again, it is Aceyalone. PeacE!

  • Dat ish wuz madd amateur. No wonda tha blowed has not been the same wit out Myka and Ab. Man, dey need ta make a new Haiku de tat without "Acey". Real talk. "Acey" ain't jack alone and fo me can't hold his own, all his solo ish is borin'. Datz da word. PEACE!!

  • You're obviously insane. I suggest you get a bit more sleep and stop smoking so much weed. Also I suggest some night school as your writing is terrible (amateur). Aceyalone's solo material OWNS. A Book Of Human Language is the greatest album ever made.....PERIOD. And that's coming from someone who's record collection is more Swans, Monks, and Godflesh than Freestyle Fellowship, Schoolly D & Wu Tang etc..... If it bores you.....I suggest sticking to the beating of the chest rap. PEACE!!!!!

  • wish the block in the back ground would shut up

  • Goddamn.

  • Peace...I have an album coming out Sept 16th under an indie label (Godsendant Music)

  • so good.

  • Nice...he could've done that better

  • Man... I love Aceyalone but this starts off with some of the most cliched freestyle lines ever.

Later he picks it up. But I've seen him rip it better. Sorry...

  • Ha, probably cause he sounds like he is wasted right here..lol!

  • real,real,real,real tight!

  • ace ONE!
