Larry's books should be required reading in junior high school, and then again in high school. Graduate only the students that pass the exams on Larry's topics. Then people won't be signing on the dotted line for those ARM mortgages, and losing their homes in foreclosure a while later.
How can people not make debt if the US government is the role model for making debt. 12 trillion dollars so far. 3,4 billion every day. Every senator should listen to Larry WInget and realize how stupid they are. Thumbs up. :D
Some people just haven't built up very much common sense over their years, so they need someone like Larry to beat them over the head and wake them up. I'm reading "Shut Up, Stop Whining, and Get A Life" right now (I saw it on the shelf randomly at OfficeMax), and it's surprisingly good material, but it really is a shame that we don't often think of these things ourselves. Or maybe you do, in which case, "good on ya'."
It's no co-incidence that that the words "debt" and "dead" sound identical--they mean the same thing.

I wonder how Larry feels about Dave Ramsey and vice versa. They are so similiar some people get them confused.

I thank God for Larry Winget. His books hurt, but they are exactly what I needed to read.

The sad thing is, all Larry does is give doses of common sense. Unfortunately, it's not very common.

Larry sure knows how to hit this subject on the head. Most people I know should read his books.
