No matter what weapon, why am i only hitting 1-6 damage? used, nebula, regular punch, gladious, long spear. all hitting 6's.

@pollotierrez Thankyou for responce, but i did manage to figure it out :) Was still difficult, struggling with the Death/Dracula combo now.. ugh.  This game is SO FUN ! :)

You can end the attack prematurely by attacking the chain that surrounds Death. Even doing that, it took me at least 20 tries to defeat it. Hardest Castlevania boss ever IMHO.

lol i beat this guy in less than a minute first time round with no damage and no sub weapons with only Jonathan.the only weaker incarnation of this guy was in SOTN with Crissagram as my wep.

@Darkserpentes, death is more vulnerable to magic attacks in his dark form, and physical attacks in his white form. If you equip tome of arms to Charlotte, then you will have little effect. Jonathan is the best for his white form because of his large arsenal of weapons, while Charlotte has spells and stuff, so she is better for his dark form.

Death sounds weird.

Death is ridiculously easy wiith subweapons.When black you can dish out hundreds damage with Ice Needles, and when white Cross takes him down , and you can have Charlotte cast Dark Crest to suck in the scythes so that you have free movement.Even Thousand Blades while standing near the doors is pretty effective.More, if those chains catch you your partner will most likely break them before Death can attack you.

It took me a while to figure out that when his cloak was white, magic woulden't do shit. It tookk me up to an hour to do this fight

Hey Shadowserg, since you're like the best player I know, you should try to solo all the bosses in Old Axe Armour mode! It's like super duper hard. Just kill 1000 Old Axe Armours and then you unlock the mode! You can find Old Axe Armours in 13th Street.

Have to disagree. In DoS Death is one of the easiest in CV series (at least for me - and I'm talking about "no damage and subweapons" condition).

I think this Death is one of the most awesome in the entire series. I especially love how he changes color, and his sickles follow suit.

o .. well i dont think i can beat him without dammage.. those scythes always hit me :P in richter mode i almost beat him withouth dammag and subweapons on lvl 14.. but 1 of those schytes hit me
