The Sega Saturn version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 was definitely the best console version at that time.

It got me to trade my PS1 for a Saturn at the time, and I still do not regret it, due to this game.

freaken takes foreva to load n they dnt say round 1, 2, 3, and 4. plus at the character select scream, wen u move the cursor it makes the higher pitched sound then the 2nd player, player 1 got the lower pitched sound in the arcade version, not here

LOL funny on almost all Sega versions of Mortal Kombat the developers could never match the correct music to the stage. Its one way of being able to immediately identify a Sega Mortal Kombat, just listen to the music if its in totally the wrong fricken place and sounds shit because of it you know its a Sega MK.

The Saturn was one of the most difficult consoles to program for, and had a very complex motherboard. It would be difficult to make a 100% working Saturn emulator. Most Saturn emulators today suck and barely work.

That's not true. SSF is extremely developed, and emulates the vast majority of Saturn games with no problems at all. The state of Saturn emulation has been quite good for about the last 6 years.

Yeah, in my opinion UMK3 on the Saturn was pretty much a flawless arcade conversion and probably the best on any console. I wasn't impressed with the SNES and Genesis versions.

In UMK3 Saturn, Human Smoke is just a repainted Scorpion with grey colour replacing yellow and Ermac's Head Rip Fatality because his winning pose is wrong (Scorpion's Winning pose). The original Human Smoke's winning pose is Classic Sub-Zero/Ermac's.

@thatguyontheright1 1. Alienware sucks. 2. I built a computer that easily stomped anything Alienware was making at the time, and probably FAR cheaper ($750). 3. The SSF emulator runs almost any game I throw at it and perfect speed on the rig I built, so if you really know what you are talking about as far as Alienware, then it proves my point about Alienware sucking, because according to you, "even alienware can't properly emulate Saturn." Mine can. lol Try SSF yourself if your rig is good.
