  • The car you referenced IS a screen used car, it was used for about 90 seconds or so in BTTF 3, and in the ride for the final stunt.

It has been dubbed by fans as the Oxnard car, as that is the location it's scenes were filmed.

It has been heavily modified over the years, obviously

  • i am gonna build my last delorean based on the universal hollywood replica, rather than the orlando one, just to be a bit diffrent

  • I would like to see it when it is completed! Good Luck!

  • a very nice dmc

  • i love that model, maybe you should try an aoshima one or an amt one, both are from the same molds, i would love to see another theme park replica kit, its awesome

  • they mess up the car just a bit but not to bad

  • When I built the car , the photos on this small shoot was of the car at the orando park. The model was to be made to resemble the car in the park. There are some differences, I know. But commission is commission.

  • The pods were suposed to be olive drab, in the park, the pods are white. Again, some differences are evident. Not true. Still.. a nice rendition.

  • This is some of the nicest work I have ever seen! Awsome job!

  • So u make all these model cars yourself?

  • Yes I do. This one here wasn't based completely on the film, as you might see. The circuits and the exterior rear frame of my model was to replicate this. Universal Studioes , which challenged me as well as hired me to build this for the park store. When I was finished I took the DeLorean back to the store and placed on display. It had increased the sales of the polar lights kit until I sold it in Dec'07.

No joke! Universal Studioes Orlando- Store mgr Randy and the park mgr)forget his name(

  • :D. Absolutely beautiful!

  • Thank you. One day I might make another one.

  • This model was sold $125.00. Dec '07.
