2 and a half months should be enough time for his hair to grow back. Guys hair tend to grow faster than women's hair do. I really doubt they'll delay filming just because his hair isn't the right length. And there is always the option of hair extensions but I seriously doubt they'll need to use them. There's no need to panic, the movie industry is good at figuring these kinda things out, its what they do. lol.

I think he looks much better with the short hair,even younger which works to his advantage! And he may have cut it that short so he would not be mobbed by girls everytime he tries to go out somewhere.
