Hide shows a lot of determination and heart despite losing. I agree with Spideredge. Just keep training and keep on improving, even if your pace is slow. Keep on being patient and persevere. Talent is overcome by dedication. Osu.
I love the Hide videos the most. Have you ever told him how popular he is on your video series? I think all his depression is what launches him into the self destructive mismatchings. However, If he trained a lot more frequently, and started to believe in himself more. I think he would be a little more successful in his own world. His blocks are getting better. But yea, every honorable man deserves to enjoy something in life. I've been through the things he feels, you can beat it and endure.
I've actually seen a lot of your stuff on Colours TV. Very interesting look into Japan's fight scene, especially the stuff you don't often hear about, like the art that resembles a martial arts flick
holy fuck i love your vids man. i want to be hide's friend and your friend lol!
nah seriously you really do make beautiful documentaries that find genuine people with shining hearts in the darkest of places. you're a great guy aswell. lol
Hide exemplifies the japanese bushido spirit. He fights balls to the wall in the face of seemingly stronger odds. In the long run, the guy with little talent with belief in himself and a big heart will eclipse a fighter with all the talent and smarts but with little faith in himself.

The last few seconds of all his fights make my eyes well up, cause he just don't quit. "Loser Champion"... sounds like the makings of a great movie!
