I wish there were bald eagals where I live, we only get a couple of golden eagles occasionly in Scotland, nothing in England. Fortunatly, there are plans to reintroduce bears, beavers and *yay* wolves into England again! I hope the plans go ahead, plus they'll keep the numbers of the foxes down as nature intended. Even though fox hunting is illegal, I'll bet you anything that the upper class still do it.

^^ Yep, I grew up on this stuff. I got into Jrock like 3 years ago so it's sort of a weird mix. HAve you seen Whisper of the Heart? It's a Miyazaki movie with John Denver's Country Roads in it.

Thanks for the inspiration!! In my lifetime, I have seen the bald eagle, wolf, and mountain lion return to my home state of Wisconsin. I couldn't be happier with the results. We owe much to the conservationists who have led the way. Especially Gaylord Nelson. May he rest in peace!!!!

@kermitonmeth I think you want the version on JDs first Greatest Hits LP. I think you are right, it's original, and I think the best version. Look for a video with a young man in a white shirt and tie, in the mountains. As I type, it's on the list of other vids, third one down.

Fun Fact: John died the day I was born.

I just love his music, the only song I don't have of him is Grandma's Feather Bed. I'll make one w/ Annie's Song. One of my personal favs. ^_^
