i know what you mean, when i use to walk to school and i use to pass through a trail cutting between a lake. one time i saw a big stork/crane, i dont know what it was, just straight ahead of the trail. i stood there frozen in fear. and then it left flying with a huge wingspan, it was scary but thrilling at the same time. i only saw that bird twice i believe
