The movies are kind of goofy, though, with powers and all. The manga keeps straight with it's stuff... All the powers make sense. Comparing the movie and the manga, it seems as though Broly would've been alot stronger than Perfect Cell, since Goku and the others couldn't even make him flinch.

All DBZ sucked after the fight with Raditz...notice thats the only time two characters team up (other than in the movies) it was before every fight was proceeded by 4 episodes of powering up, and before they broke up the fighting every 3 seconds for a 5 minute monologue. Ps-Nobodys arguing that Goku going super saiyan wasn't the coolest scene in any anime EVER...cause it was.

They could have cut down all the expositional monologues, too. We know Frieza's got a high power level, Piccolo, you don't have to keep telling us. It wasn't entirely random, the Trunks, Android, and Cell saga, as Cell was, indeed the 'perfect' villain (essentially a compilation of most of the Z-Fighters, as well as the Androids, and Frieza and King Cold.)

DBZ was a drastic change from DB with the introduction of aliens and all that. GT went even further though (keep in mind I partially consider the Buu saga GT because it focused more on entertainment in fights than on an engaging plot, and overused the Kais and what not). I'm glad they made it, but I hope that an alternative continuation after Cell will be made.
