This boss is highly reliant on your group makeup. If you dont have at least 3 locks and 2-3 druids you're in for a rough fight. Unless he's picking on the shammies your gonna start to run out of dps due to the dooms.

you had trouble getting the loot? is it because you tanked the doomspawns and you weren't on the aggro table of Azgalor? happened once to some off-tanks when we killed azgalor :D

Wouldn't a Druid make a better tank for Azgalor, due to higher armour, hp, and dodge, especially since it's my understanding that MH bosses are unable to crush.

This would make dealing with the silence considerably easier.

is there a way to avoid the heavy damage? cause the tank really needs 500+ defence to prevent a critical hit of him, i mean, the tank needs optimal healing of all the healers right? so should the paladins bubble him once in a while just in case?

no just heal it, if you cant heal thru his damage your not going to get to him thanx to the trash
