Good, except that NOBODY EVER PAYS ATTENTION TO THE TIME SETTING. WHY?! Other than that, this is a better rendering/simulation than most other videos show.
question, how do i get my water to look clear like yours? ive been searching for awhile, no tuts, or anything showo how to do it, ive even checked on blender.org for some info, NOTHING, please respond.
funny title btw... Video is nice too. Interesting scenario you got goin with some sort of aquarium thing filling up real fast with a pipe built in.. Good idea for an invention
Awesome but blender VERY big mistake is-look at the "roof" of that aquarium :) Water sticks on glass for some time and oafter it falls. Not so realistic but anyway AWESOME!
I would like a simple .blend with working tracer particals; where you can just hit "bake", wait, then hit "render animation", and see a reasonably good looking result.
I don't know how tracers work or how to render particles well.
weird name, cool animation

the water doesn't seem to break apart into too many drops, which can look bad. Did you tweak that setting?

I'm curious how you got the force behind the flow to shoot the water out. Did you use a control object?

How did you make the inflow stop?
adam1996123321 2 years ago
There's a channel in the IPO curves that controls that, it's called "active"
Nice vid btw, 5 stars

he probably scaled it to 0.
Cerafem 2 years ago
@adam1996123321 scale it down to zero using keyframes and scale factor.

can i ask how can u keep the fluid coming out of the tube, when i make an animation, my fluid stops with the contains of my cube/sphere
Stinooooooo 3 years ago
you have to press "Inflow" and then choose the axis in which you want the fluid to flow

Good animation, but next time use a quality texture instead of that nasty blender marble.

I wasn't focusing on marble, but good idea.

A fluid simulation as nice as this one should have tracer particles for a more dramatic splash. Great job otherwise. 5/5
