I might be living in my own "classic rock" world, but I think that this album will be the absolute best release of the year. That includes the new RHCP stuff. I like that band, but I think CF has got them beat. There is a fun, refreshing energy in the new CF stuff. I don't hear that with the new RHCP. Everything else is a distant third, anyways.

Their first album was just four good friends who made a great rock album on the fly. With these songs, I can truly hear the spirituality that great bands achieve when they are true to themselves as musicians. These guys really caught lightning in a bottle when they formed this band. As a musician, I'm jealous. As good as all of these previews sound, I think the actual album is gonna blow us away.
