96-98 GT's were some of the SLOWEST years made, I had a 98 GT with all bolt ons with 01 GT heads/intake and made right around 245rwhp and ran a best of 13.8 @ 101mph (had a auto) your car sounds pretty good though! Anything else done since this video was posted? I ended up realizing my 98 was just not worth upgrading anymore, if ya have time check out my video of what I got now.

@03svtpower ok sure ima check out your videos all ive done to my gt was put underdrive pulleys on it and stage 2 racing clutch and steeda short throw shifter and new coild packs and new intake manifold with 373 gears

@everettemetoyer I too put 373's in when i had my 98, woke it pretty good for being an auto, I did end up putting a 150 shot of Nitrous(NX) on it, NOW that was FUN!!! I felt un-beatable when I was spraying, but like i said i did see the light eventually,lol keep upgrading, I think the under drive pullies was the best bang for the buck on my 98, the exhaust I had was shorty headers into an off road H pipe in to 1 chamber flows, that thing sounded like a pissed off dump truck!! LOUD AS HELL!!

@FORDRAClNG I too knew a few with the PI swap that ran HIGH 12's and they were on slicks with a 5spd. I had a auto on street tires cutting a 2.0-2.2 60' time. Either way you look at it 96-98 were some of the SLOWEST mustangs out there! Before the PI swap I ran 13.0 @ 110 on spray with a 2.1 60' with street tires, Now i have a 03 cobra running low 11's all day.

70mm is just about right for street applications 75mm is really to big and you won't be able to tell any more gain from the 70 to the 75mm. 75mm is mostly for supercharged engines so i wouldn't waste the money on a 75mm unless you are planning on going with a supercharger later on. I have a 70mm on my 2000 gt and i love it.

sure you will always get more power by upgrading the exhaust and adding a cold air intake when ever the motor can breath better it will make more power and on the mustangs the sound is very nice

well i only ran it once at the track and it was all stock at the time with no mods done to it at all and it ran a 15.5 @ 89mph the v6 ran a 15.7 @ 92mph so they were close on the track times now i gotta see how good the gt runs now that it has the new PI intake manifold and the upr off road xpipe, along with the super 44's flowmaster exhaust on it im waiting on the underdrive pullys right now and the msd coilpacks

that sound pretty good on that generation v8 , on our 06's the flowmaster super 44's dont sound as good as that , i have a full slp system which i think is loud but not as throaty as that
