Filtration is 100% seems possible however the reabsorption seems quite difficult as the silicon pores could get blocked easily when less pressure is there... and if patient goes for hypotension (may happen even with native kidneys) unlike the normal kidney it never gona get recovered from clots... I've also thinking about making an artificial transplantable kidney which could be far smaller than that of the proposed model by dr. shuvo roy.. Any way all the best to DR.SHUVO ROY and TEAM...
It would be great stride forward if the biokidney shows pormising results in human trials. However, there may be great many challenges for the team to overcome, particularly in relation maintaining the integrity and viability of kidney cells within an artificial structure. So for instance, where will these cells get their blood suppy from? Moreover, the filters may need constant replacement because of blockages as blood clots.
the goal of this BIOTIC kidney is good! conduct More trials to insure the safety of the patient..

I hope this comes to fruition as well. I've been on dialysis for two years and the lifespan of a cadaver kidney is relatively short.

I really hope that the team is successful. Dialysis, while it kept me alive, is horribly draining literally and figuratively
