This is a terrible idea - you'll never see those gnomes coming through all the grass! Jaykay :P Can't wait to get my XPS 9000 and try this macro out on there - it makes everything look so lush and rich! Adds a lot more replay value to WoW for me for some strange reason. Great song choice too.
I used to love this game, but now if i ever want to play again i just want a really good graphics card and run around on my mount. its the way the game looks, not really the game that i love
on my laptop with everything at max (except dynamic shadows at 0 D:) everything usually runs 35ish fps. in dalaran i guess its 20-30. i have a 9200 nvidia ge or something
my computer is a 2400 Dell dimension, i know nothing about it, AT ALL, im not a computer-wiz, i just know that mine is old and cant run most anything that quickly.
so if i try this im gonna lag SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BADLY
i have gforce 6600 amd i can run it at fair and fet about 30 fps if i run it at good i get 15-11 ish what i did to do this was put the settings on low then use the macros then put one ore 2 settings on high and u will get about 22-30 fps
So basically the low quality with the "high" quality is the additional flowers or mountains?Plz,don't make me laugh,Blizzard is obviously making joke with what she considers as "graphics"...
And before starting flaming me about this game being multiplayer with millions of players,I tell you I am currently studying computer science and I assure you, these guys have done nothing marvelous than stealing the money of the gameplayers
If you were "studying" as you say, you would realize that is called ground clutter, that can actually bog down systems by trying to render each new graphic. Also, you would have noticed the sharper clarity on the items/backgrounds, along with the cleaner edges and less jerky movements on the character sprites when they walk.
Next time, try a little harder when you impersonate someone that knows what the hell they are talking about.
Do us all a favour and take your big head and ram it right up your arse you annoying little git, if people dont wanna waste there money on this game they they wouldnt pay, but the fact is millions do because they enjoy it, just like me.
I have a Geforce fx 5600, yet im stuggling to get even 20 fps in Northrend, In Orgrimmar by the bank i am stuck with 13 fps.... When loads of people are fighting in AV i go down to 7 fps..... Any help to why it's so low?
Im getting a laptop w/ 4gb 320gb hard drive 2.0 dual pro. nd a 512mb nvdia geforce 9600m gt grapgics card... do u think it will lag with these macros or nah?
4gb virtual memomory and pritty much no G-Card will run wow with no lagg fast and high graphics and im using a dell dm051 "shit but gets the job done :)"
I'm sick of this constant speculation on whether a graphics card can run WoW well or not. The graphics card has almost no effect on performance in WoW at all! I have 3 computers. My best is a dual core 2.51Ghz with an 8600GTS, 2nd best is a single core 3.2Ghz with a 6800GS, and my worst is a 1.5Ghz with a 5500FX graphics card. Just to prove it to my friend, I put my old 5500FX (very very old and very very slow) into my computer with the DUAL core. I got 20-40FPS. It's ALL in the CPU and RAM!
Well QQ but this video has nothing to do about a grpahics card. It is however a macro to take the look of WOW to a more realistic view, even with everything maxed it will not look like this.
Oh yeah I know I know, I was saying what I said for the people who think that a graphics card mattered for performance. I use this macro, it's very nice :D but I'm just saying to the people below that they don't need a good graphics card.
definately :P if you have a good CPU it will work well. A good CPU is a 2.4Ghz to 3.0Ghz if you have a single core, but to really help out your graphics card, at least a dual core 2.4Ghz will be needed otherwise the CPU just slows the whole process down. but if you have that card, this macro shouldn't be a problem!
Still looks shit to me

In other words. More Sprites. Longer Draw Distance. Dynamic Shadows.
Doesn't change the fact there are only ever 12 polygons on the screen!

Zyzzlac 2 years ago
Because that isn't the limit to which wow is capable of. They don't allow it because people can't realize that their computer sucks.
People that actively look for this to set their computer know their computer can handle it.
