  • Awesome! Good to get an early start. Have you picked a school yet?

  • is it legal for an under 18 guy to fly a plane? just curious.

  • @rishiroypilot Any age can fly as long as "they can" if that makes sense. Must be 16 to operate a solo, and at 17 you can apply for a private pilot license given you have put in the required training. Requirements differ slightly depending on what category aircraft is being flown but in this case, yes he is legal.

  • @warnerbroRW okay, thank you.

  • that looks more Like a 172N To me

  • This is a 172SP I have seen all different types and I can say this is a 172. . . I am pretty sure it is a Cessna Skyhawk 172SP

  • Nice landing do you use Microsoft Flight Simulator to improve your landing?

  • @FsimulatorX if not him, many people do, flight sim helps to develop your skills

  • Funny - there are about 600K pilots in the USA and they all seem to YouTube to prove their 'knowledge'. I call BS. Good landing. Ignore the Keyboard Pilots on here.

  • Nice Landing. You have to flare more, you will learn when you slam harder than you want against the floor. I did the same at the beginning. I got my license in tamiami also. SLIVER EXPRESS!

  • Started at 14, soloed at 16, PPL at 17. Trying for my IFR this year.

You all should fly to N87 in New Jersey so I can give you all high fives.

  • i started at 12 now 15

  • very nice5++++++

  • it was a very nice landing considering it was only your 3rd landing just a little bit more of a flare was needed.... I did my training at tamiami..

  • awesome! i am 14 and working on my liscence right now.

  • same. where do you fly at? i'm in kfrg - nyc.

  • I'm down in Orlando, unfortunately my plans were put on hold, because i have to pay part of it, and right now i don't have enough green :(

  • I landed a plane in a crosswind on my first lesson ,I am 14 also,I also did sharp banking up to 30 degrees for the approach.

  • wow, 30 degrees. feel free to impress with something not normal.

  • What flying were you doing at 14?

  • PPL, check the profile mate.

  • Yeah you do some real life flying fair play and good on ye.... but you did not answer my question.

  • 14 first lesson, first solo 16th bday, ppl 17th

  • very nice landing, You will been come a grat captain

  • bad ass! i only do it on flight sim

  • nice landing kiddo :)

  • yeah but thats only too fly alone and get a license you can fly with an adult when your ten if u have the money

  • Isn't there a minimal age for flying..?

  • nope. : )

  • Marvellous video, i felt like really flying.

  • nice man! im 16 and i wanna learn to fly...wanna know the coincidence? i live 7 miles from that airport!!!

  • tamiami

  • very nice, congrats

  • tamiami rocks

  • Looks like an older model, could be N,M,L or P.

I'm basing this off the placement of certain guages etc. If you want, send me the registration and I'll tell you specifically what model it is.

  • For starters, that isn't a 172SP.

  • oh. okay. well what is it.

  • this is a Cessna 172R, the SP model is g100

  • actually it's a c172m tail#n9231h. and sp and 172r both have g-1000. the diffrence is sp has 180hp while the 172r has 160

  • i am soo good

  • dont get too cocky. where do you normally fly from?
