I have installed, and downloaded all, I open it and it still in black screen... I apply the libstagefright to lib folder and the problem is the same, what can I do?

Don't forget, you must rezip the folder and put the libstage.so (SO!!!!) in the folder :)

If you have the problem again, tell me, what OS do you have installed? (cm7, miui, stock?)

1.1 is a good version but has got a few bugs on my Defy. (e.g. when I drive into glass, gta crashes)

When you have a root explorer, you must go in the internal storage. system/lib isn´t at the sd-card. ^^

Fürs austauschen brauchst du "root" rechte.

Einfach mal im Defy Forum bei Androidhilfe.de gucken, dort findest du super Anleitungen dazu, allerdings verlierst du die Garantie dadurch. Dann lädtst du dir den "dateimanager" vom Android Market und stellst ihn in den Optionen auf root ein. Dann ersetzt du diese Datei oben mit "root-Rechten" ^^

I have defy + with 1ghz already built in plus 3.8 inches screen and 2.3.5 will i be able to run it well cause my friend has mini pro and he can run it but with a lot of lag cause mini pro has only 2.8 inch screen so it sucks i just hope it works do u think it will work

The Defy+ has the same screen as the Defy (3,7 inches) ^^

Xperia Mini Pro? You have 1ghz, the Mini Pro 0,6 ghz. and the graphics-chip from the Defy/+ is better. But, why are you asking me? Look at the vid, I´m using "only" a normal Defy and it runs good. ^^

Otherwise you can search for other vids. And I think, YES, it will work! :)

And, compare: Quadrant Score Defy+ :1900 Points // Mini Pro: 600-700

Yes, but it will be more laggy then on Cm7/Miui.

You should use at least roote and setvsel for overclocking. With 800 Stock-Mhz it will be laggy.

Only version 1.1 of GTA 3 is running good. v1.3 doesn't start on my Defy (also with fix)

and 1.2 I have not tried.

Download V1.1 (if you have 1.3) by searching Google for " gta 3 1.1 apk"

Could you please tell me how to install GTA 3 successfully on Defy? I am using CM7 with oc 1.2G. I tried your gta3.set and numerous other ways but they didn't work. My phone can install the apk, but after I downloaded the SD files I always end up with a black screen when the game is launched. I also tried chainfire3D with/without NVIDIA plugins, same result. I read the previous comments of your video but didn't really get how to solve my problem.

On my Defy Shadowgun runs always smooth, even with tegra 2 (Chainfire3D). So I can´t say how it will run on your Defy, but I think you will have to overclock, or wipe, or put Cm7 or Miui on it (these Roms make the Defy more powerful)

I would update to Froyo. It´s faster (Compare the Quadrant benchmarks...eclair about 900-1100, Froyo about 1500-1700 points:) Or try Cm7 (Quadrant score on my phone: 2850 points :P )

Of course, it will run. But i don´t know, HOW it will run^^ I think, without sound it will be good playable (and with normal graphics)

But i think it would be better when you install Cm7 and/or overclock your defy, then it will run good!!

Yes, I mean this folder. (It includes all sounds and music)

You can rename it to whatever you want (i named it "audio x") and then you will have better performance, but without sound.

(The music decreases the performance)

Do you have the same smartphone?

When you are using a Defy, too, restart the phone before playing gta. - It´s better to use Cm7 or Miui then the stock-rom. - when it´s laggy, you can overclock your device - renaming the soundfolder gives a performance boost :) - are they a lot of other processes which takes cpu power?

And: I used a special gta3.set file, you can download it (look in video description)

No, i didn´t use Chainfire3D. You can use it, but it´s not necessary. (When you reduce the texture quality and size in Chainfire3D, it will run better, but it will be ugly)

I overclocked with Setvsel, but this is not essential, too.

I used the app "setvsel". You can find it in the android market, but you need root ^^

Without effects, gta 3 is even playable on 800 Mhz. (Without overclocking)
