First time doing this mission, I took the jumpy-from-pole-to-pole way. I completely freaked out when he started shooting his arrows everywhere/in my general direction. I was like, "Holy crap, he knows where I am!"
another thing you can do is after you speak to the bureau you can go around kill all the guards around the ship area then go to the spot to begin the assassination and then when you go to kill him there are no guards with him so after you can walk away without the alarm sounding cause there were no guards to see you kill him. just be careful because if he spots you he starts to run away

Here's another way, if you don't feel like killing the guards before the cutscene, or forgot. Jump to the small boat just to the right of the vessel Sibrand is on. When Sibrand is yelling like a dillusional madman at the front of the boat, throw a knife at one of his guards, they will both chase you onto the small boat without alerting Sibrand. kill them. Then when he does his regular walk back onto the boat, wait until he goes to yell in front again, walk up behind him and kill him.
an incredibly risky strategy! I prefer to jump across the boats and take out the archers with knifes. You are incredibly quick with the assassination :)
@Skaterdude4321 I know, it's quite annoying. Sounds like he's going to break his controller. I saw in another vid comment, he said it's because the camera is so close to his controller. Time to learn how to do direct feed, friendo.
he starts to flee if you are spotted, and the ship is a high alert area where you are automatically exposed if you are seen at all. you can still barge in and kill him, but you'll need faster reflexes to make sure you get him.

Yea go around the other way u have to jump a lot of poles and boats with drunks and throw knives at guards but if u do it(usually takes me 4 tries, damn drunks) u can climb up the side of his boat, wait till he comes up to shoot his bow, hurry up the last step and strike BAM insta kill. OH did u hear those shitty ps3 sticks in the background clanking? lol

anyways, yes the AI is a little different on PC vs console. the guards are a little more alert. jumping over water on console is a lot harder than on pc.

i love it when an assassination is going right, nobody has interfered, your heart starts pumping, you get lightheaded, then BAM! your running from the guards chasing after you because you just killed the guy

Yeah, the audio is crackling but this is a good video. I'm working on this assassination now (2nd playthrough) and I wanted to see someone do a stealth assassination. My first playthrough I chased him all over town before I got him. :)

Aside from Tamir, Sibrand was the easiest Assassination Target for me.
I mean, on my first run through, I couldn't jump across the boats to save my life, so I tried that method... but it didn't end the way I thought.
On my second run, I ran across the boats and wooden poles, then I just waited until Sibrand turned around. I jumped up, walked up to him and got him.
No guards involved... until after he was dead of course...

it went perfectly for me, the second i moved in about 30 guards clocked me, and i got into an epic fight :D
