The real question should be why would somebody want to CHANGE an individual, why even go through all of that BS ad put yourself through that misery if you already know your not gonna like a person's lifestyle? they shouldn't had started the relationship in the first place. It comes down to being afraid of the unknown, or being afraid of being lonely. Women dont just do this, men do this too if they are not willing to let go. I've been one of those men. It also comes down to self-esteem and self-efficacy. If you (man or woman) think that you cant be alone or feel as if you dont have the ability to find someone else then you are more likely to put up with crap.

One of the mistresses (rachel uchitel) said she was devastated to find out that Tiger Woods had hooked up with other women. In other words, she was hoping that the guy who cheated on his wife (and mother of his children) wouldn't cheat on her. The thing to remember is a lot of women are competitive and narcissistic. The 'means justifies the end' is a philosophy many women adopt in the dating world.
Unfortunately....women are just socialized here to complain and simultaneoulsy fucking up in the relationship. It is just how women are, and that's why I say to men, keep your mind on your money and profession, stay focused and do all you can to stay out of the drama of most of these foolish females. They are total diversions and will keep you off your game.

It sounds to me not like she was telling her that his history of cheating makes his current cheating okay, but it sounds more like she was just telling the woman that it's dumb to knowingly go into that relationship, and then complain about it... Just one way of telling her that she shouldn't have gone into the relationship to begin with.
